Internet 'turning teenagers into pornography copycats'

Teenagers are developing a twisted view of sex from pornography they view on the internet, researchers warn.
Previous generations tended to learn about the facts of life from their parents and teachers in a respectful and moral way.
But a third of children surveyed said they had learned about sex from pornography and regarded the soulless images they saw as normal.

An alarming number of teenage girls believed they should imitate pornographic scenes they had seen on the internet.
Nearly nine out of ten teenagers aged 14 to 17 had looked at graphic images and nearly one in five viewed them more than once a week the survey found.

Researchers said a growing number of girls felt pressured into stripping on webcams for their boyfriends.
In one frightening confession, a girl of 15 told how her friends performed sex acts on webcams, replicating what they had seen on the internet or TV.
A 14-year-old girl said that if a girl sent a lewd picture of herself to her boyfriend, it was often sent on to his friends.
A third of youngsters surveyed said pornography was 'a good thing'. Boys as young as 14 admitted to swapping pornography at school, usually on their phones or computers.
The statistics were revealed on Channel 4's The Sex Education Show Vs Pornography, which was shown last night. It questioned 443 teenagers aged 14 to 17 at schools across the country.
Presenter Anna Richardson said: 'We are campaigning for kids to be protected from pornography.

'A lot of the material teens are exposed to is deviant, violent and unrepresentative of real sex. Our kids are looking at images in the playground that would shock most adults.'

Cadillac 3G Router

We’re running out of places to hide from the internet, and cars are the latest casualty. Starting next month, Cadillac will offer an option for a dealer installed 3G wireless router in their CTS Sport sedans. You can expect typical 3G download speeds (supposedly 400-800 kbps but your mileage may vary), and if no 3G is available, you’ll be lucky to see 200 kbps. The router itself cost about $500, $450 of which probably gets sunk into that Cadillac logo.

The service is actually being offered through a company called Autonet Mobile. It costs about $30 for 1 gig a month, or about $60 for 5 gigs a month… There doesn’t seem to be any unlimited plan. A gig a month is just about enough for you to check email, download attachments, maybe listen to the occasional song. But personally, I hate having to worry about caps. And with so many mobile devices with unlimited data plans out there, what’s the appeal of having a piece of hardware that’s restricted in bandwidth AND restricted in location? I guess maybe the idea is, if you’re buying a new Cadillac, things like “cost effectiveness” just aren’t that high up on your list of priorities.

Top 5 Locations for Office Sex

The Supply Room - Thumb tacks and staplers aren’t the only things to get to do the sticking in the supply room. As it’s the most likely place someone will have sex in a office. It’s not a lot of traffic and it tends to have a lot of boxes for support to allow numerous positions.

The Stairwell - During the afternoon after everyone has had lunch, and at back at their desk working, hit the stairwell, ease under the stairs and get it popping. The stairs can be a great place for sex at work if you can keep quiet. Because you can hear someone coming in more ways than one.

The Random Closet - I know most guys probably don’t like the idea of being in the closet, but if you’re in there with Big Butt Bertha who always rocks the inappropiate outfits to work each day… I’m sure the dude won’t mind. Women are sexual intellectuals by nature so she knows how to get the key to that random closet no one ever goes into with just enough space for an office quickie. Just slide out of the closet, with a broom and sweep something.

The Conference Room - This room is almost always empty except for that one wednesday when they powers that be decide to have a meeting about copy machine paper being used for love notes and paper footballs. But there are plenty of chairs and a big desk for either one of you to do a lot of tricks for sexual pleasure.

Man Accused of Killing his Twin!!

A police expert compared the prints of 14 people to the latent evidence at the scene of Dennis Lewis' killing but concluded that only one person's palm could have left the bloody impression on the victim's wall: his twin brother, Derris.

"A latent print is a chance print," Mark L. Bryant testified today in Franklin County Common Pleas Court. "Every finger and palm print is different, and no two prints have ever been found to be alike."

He said he and three other Police Division examiners came to the same conclusion: Derris Lewis left his palm print in blood on the victim's bedroom wall between the time Dennis Lewis went to bed and 1:30 a.m. Jan. 18, 2008, when a gunshot ended Dennis' life.

A match to a latent print must conform on at least eight points of comparison, Bryant said. He found 16 in the palm print at the Lewis home.

"There is no doubt it belongs to Derris Lewis," he said.

Patrol officers testified that they secured the house and did not let anyone in or out after they arrived.

Bryant said he took the extra step of asking Derris Lewis to resubmit to finger and palm prints, which he willingly did.

Lewis, now 19, is charged with aggravated murder, murder, aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary and kidnapping. Although he is the only person charged, prosecutors said others could have been involved.

The twins' mother, April Lewis, testified Tuesday that at least three masked men forced their way into her living room at 1161 Loretta Ave. that morning and demanded money. Then she heard a gunshot and found Dennis dead in the hallway.

Her testimony and autopsy photos of his dead brother, shown to jurors today, brought tears to Derris Lewis' face at the defense table.

Despite evidence of a fight between Dennis Lewis and whoever attacked him, all of the blood found in the house belonged to the identical twins, who share DNA, a crime-lab analyst testified.

"Blood is probably the best source of DNA," said Debra Lambourne. She tested 10 of the 15 blood samples taken by detectives and found that all were a match to the twins.

Detective William A. Snyder said he used a saw to cut two pieces of drywall from the victim's bedroom because he noticed "ridge detail" in the blood and did not want to disturb the palm print.

"The only way to leave a fingerprint (in blood) is to have blood on your hand and press your hand against the wall," Snyder testified.

April Lewis testified that the wall was clean before Dennis went to bed.

Defense attorney Adam Lee Nemann told jurors that his client wasn't in the house that morning. He suggested that another man could have committed the crime but said he was not investigated properly by police. But Bryant said that the prints of Nemann's uncharged suspect were not found among the 68 submitted by detectives.

A ladder under a bathroom window indicated where intruders entered, and cabinet doors left open in the basement were evidence of a search for valuables, Nemann said.

Snyder said Dennis Lewis was supposed to have $1,000 in cash in a dresser drawer, but no money, drugs or weapons were found at the crime scene.

Assistant County Prosecutors Doug Stead and Tim Mitchell contend that one brother was shot by the other, possibly over money Dennis had been saving for a car.

The trial began Monday in the courtroom of Judge Guy L. Reece.

U-Turn Digital Camera

Considering that everyone has a digital camera these days, it is simply a matter of time before little kids start to want one. I know my children, who are ages six and under, want to play with our digital camera, but would you give a kid that young a digital camera? I don’t think so.

Fortunately, Digital Blue has one way of satisfying the curiosity of a little child with the U-Turn Digital Camera made for the little hands. The U-Turn has a 2.4 inch LCD screen that swivels so that the kids can take pictures of themselves. Hopefully, it is durable enough for the little ones’ rough lifestyle.

There is enough built-in memory on the U-Turn for about eighty digital photos, but it doesn’t look like they can be downloaded to a PC or laptop. Digital Blue’s press release on this product does not say whether it comes with a USB to mini-USB cord and appropriate ports for linking up.

Another feature is the “morphing” button feature that allows the user to morph an image with fun effects like the sketchy head, swirls, and squatty view.

The Digital Blue U-Turn digital camera is expected to be out in the Spring, for a price of about $49.99.

Apple’s Mac Pro

Apple just revved up its Mac Pro line, and at the top of the feature list is the latest quad-core Intel Xeon “Nehalem” processors. Apple says the new Mac Pro with two quad-core Intel 2.93GHz processors is twice as fast as its dual quad-core 3.2GHz predecessor in memory throughput, and 1.5x faster in integer calculation. Despite those faster parts inside, Apple stuck with that same unstackable, yet attractive aluminum case.

But it’s not a bad deal in the Apple scheme of things, considering these new Macs cost less than the old ones, starting at $2,499 for the single processor unit and $3,299 for the dual proc. The fact that Apple stopped short at the 2.93GHz Nehalem chip, and doesn’t offer the fastest Xeon W5580 3.2GHz Nehalem, has us scratching our heads. Could it be that the price is already pushing $6,699 when you load on 12GB of RAM and the 2.93GHz chips?

BMW Intelligent Learning Navigation System

BMW is always at the forefront of vehicle technology and their latest contribution would be Intelligent Learning Navigation System (ILENA), where the system will learn your (bad) driving habits as well as daily routes in order to assist you better when it comes to navigation and fuel economy. It looks as though ILENA functions via Bluetooth connectivity or a docked handset, but drivers have the choice of an onscreen user select mode as well. ILENA will be able to adjust your seating preferences and rear view mirror once it recognizes you, displaying the best way and method of driving to get to your destination even before you manage to back out from your garage. Apparently ILENA is 80% accurate despite being in its development stages - we shudder to think that when it is fully operational, it will run for President in 2012.

Memphis Man Accused of Raping 15 Year-Old Girl

MEMPHIS, TN – Memphis police say a man is accused of raping a 15 year-old girl in the middle of the night.

It happened around midnight, February 21, 2009. According to a police document, the 15 year-old told investigators that her mother had just left for work when a family friend, who lives across the street, knocked on the door. The girl says she let the man in and then went back to her bedroom. The teen told investigators 21 year-old Cedric York followed her in the room, pulled off her pajama pants, pinned her down and raped her.

The girl’s mother told police she came home early, after she learned she didn’t have to work that night, and found York in her daughter’s bedroom, pulling up his pants. The woman says York started to apologize, saying that he was drunk and didn’t know what he was doing.

Investigators say the 15 year-old girl was taken to the Rape Crisis Center where she was examined. Police say the girl’s injuries were consistent with rape.

Cedric York has been charged with rape.
