Rules For An Office Romance
Scan the room, is Derrick at Tasha’s desk again? Is the married Tammy, sneaking off to lunch with the boss for the forth time this week? If your office is anything like the ones I used to work in then you’ve seen these things before. At one of my jobs things were so bad when it came to office dating that, this lady’s husband drove his truck into the back my manager’s Benz while he and the guy’s wife were enjoying lunch behind the building. Which leads me to think about the ethics of an office romance.
Finding a bust it baby at your office can be easy, with all the moral booster’s jobs like to put on, and not to mention the fact that you’re around that person for 40 hours a week. Yet, they always seem to end terrible so here are some rules to making it work.
Keep it on the low - Take a page from Rihanna and Chris Brown and keep the relationship under wraps. It’s okay for people to think or suspect there is a relationship, but once they know you’re an item they’ll be looking for every reason to break the two of you up.
May I have your attention please - Don’t draw too much attention to yourself. If you’re banging your manager don’t allow him or her to spend all of their time at your desk and vice versa. People are going to talk and when evaluations come around and you have to have a closed door meeting people will think you’re doing the nasty on the desk.
Benefits - Special treatment, yea an office relationship can have it’s benefits you get stuff from your lover’s dept quicker than most people or you get assigned the least stressful activities, but when you’re in the lunch room you get the side eye. So try to avoid accepting or requesting any special treatment.
Don’t Drink & Drive - When ever the office decided to have a holiday party, don’t drink too much. You know every year someone drinks too much and will provide the office with fodder for lunch breaks on Monday. So by watching how much you drink you can almost assure that the pictures of you blowing your boss under the table won’t make it rounds through microsoft outlook.

A 52 year old man got sick of living and decided to end it all in front of everyone.Incident happened in Cluj (Romania).He had no family and he was working at a construction company.He survived the fall but he could end up in a wheel chair for the rest of his life.

Gunman Brings Son, 3, To Drive-By
Monroe had his 3-year-old son with him in a stolen car, officials said.
"Speaking with people out in the location, there was some type of disturbance earlier in the week between two groups of people and this may have spilled over and culminated in this shooting," said Det. Barton Nabors with HPD Homicide.
After Linton was hit, someone with him fired back, police said, and one of those bullets hit the 3-year-old.
Both the child and Linton were critically wounded. The toddler is expected to recover.
Linton is paralyzed from the waist down, doctors said.
At the time of the shooting, Monroe was already charged with murder and free on a $50,000 bond.
Monroe is accused of shooting and killing an accomplice during a robbery at a southeast Houston video store in the 8500 block of Winkler in August.
"He's dangerous. I'd classify him as a bad guy," Nabors said.
Police said a charge of aggravated assault would be added to the murder and robbery charges already pending against Monroe. He's being held without bond.
Officials are still searching for the shooter who wounded the little boy.

Pregnant Prostitutes To Face Charges
Two women were charged with prostitution in Camden County on Thursday after they were arrested in a sting operation at a Lake Ozark hotel last week.
Two other women were also arrested, and three of the women are pregnant. Alexandra Wells and Allysia Waldrop were both charged on Thursday. Waldrop is pregnant, but is not known if Wells is also.
The undercover bust went down at a Lake Ozark area hotel after the sheriff’s department received several reports that pregnant women were advertising prostitution on an internet advertising site.
One of the women arrested was eight months pregnant, another six months pregnant, and another was three months pregnant. They ranged in age from 18 to 22 years old

Crack Cocaine Ring Busted In Wythe County, Va.
Six of seven men believed by authorities to be involved in a crack cocaine ring were rounded up late Thursday and early Friday, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Virginia.
A federal grand jury indicted the group Thursday, charging them with selling the potent drug in Wythe County from February 2007 through April of this year.
“These men were responsible for bringing large amounts of crack cocaine into our area,” Acting U.S. Attorney Julia C. Dudley said in a news release issued Friday.
Each man could face a life sentence and as much as $16 million in fines if convicted on the distribution charges. Six of the men are from Wytheville, Va., and one is from Detroit, Mich., according to the news release.
Involved in the investigation were the Wythe County Sheriff’s Office, the Wytheville Police Department, the Virginia State Police and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
“I think this is a fine example of interdepartmental cooperation, ensuring that a crack distribution ring has been dismantled,” said Wythe County Sheriff Doug King.
Indicted and arrested were:
* Andrae Rodregas Davis, 28, of Wytheville, charged with drug conspiracy, using a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking, and six counts of possessing crack cocaine with the intent to distribute.
* Reginald Anderson, 37, of Wytheville, charged with drug conspiracy and four counts of distributing crack cocaine.
* Vincent Pernell Kyle, 39, of Wytheville, charged with drug conspiracy and three counts of possessing crack cocaine with the intent to distribute.
* Landon Demetrius Taylor, 27, of Wytheville, charged with drug conspiracy.
* Marcus Lamonte Davis, 35, of Wytheville, charged with drug conspiracy.
* Christopher Taylor, 26, of Wytheville, charged with drug conspiracy.
Also indicted was 43-year-old Detroit resident David Tony Moore, who remains at large. His charges include drug conspiracy and possessing crack cocaine with the intent to distribute.
Two Lakeland Men Suspects In Fatal Shooting
LAKELAND | Law enforcement officials have identified the two Lakeland men arrested following an armed robbery and fatal shooting Sunday that began in Fort Meade and ended in Lakeland.
Jamel Bell, 20, a passenger in the getaway car, was arrested after the car crashed at West Parker and Stella streets in the Lake Parker Drive area. The driver, Antwan Laron Nelson, 21, ran from the crash scene. Deputies found him at a house at 705 Gilmore St. and arrested him this morning.
Both have been charged in the killing of Auntrey Keon Jones, 20, of Fort Meade and with the armed robbery of Lachaz Clark.
The robberies started at Southeast Lanier Avenue and Southeast Seventh Street in Fort Meade, deputies said. Two men in a white Oldsmobile robbed Clark, 21, then drove to Southwest Seminole Avenue and Southwest Eighth Street where they attempted to rob Jones before shooting him and driving away, deputies said.
Jones is a participant in the Polk County Jail work release program for a recent arrest on driving with a suspended license. A sheriff’s spokeswoman could not say if there was any connection between the victim and Bell and Nelson.
The car was seen heading north, away from Fort Meade and into Lakeland. Deputies chased the car and the driver refused to stop, said sheriff’s spokeswoman Carrie Rodgers.
The car eventually stopped in the Lake Parker Drive area of Lakeland.
At the height of the chase, numerous sheriff’s patrol cars and the department’s helicopter were called in to help. Lakeland police officers also were involved in the search.
Nelson was on probation when the robbery occurred, according to records.
He pleaded guilty in Polk County to carrying a concealed firearm and discharging it in a public place in 2006 and was sentenced to 30 months probation.
This year, he was accused of violating his probation by not getting permission from his probation officer to change his residence. He was released pending the outcome of that case.
In Osceola County, he faced charges for grand theft of a firearm, armed carjacking, armed robbery and attempted felony murder.
It’s unclear if Nelson was found guilty of those charges
Ex-Morgue Worker Accused Of Sex With Corpse
CINCINNATI -- A grand jury indicted a former employee of a Cincinnati coroner’s office with the abuse of a corpse more than two decades ago, WLWT-TV in Cincinnati reported.
Prosecutors said Kenneth Douglas, 55, of Westwood, Ohio, sexually assaulted the body of 19-year-old Karen Range, who was murdered during an attempted rape Aug. 19, 1982, at her home.
She had been severely beaten and had her throat slashed with a paring knife.
David Steffen was sentenced to death in 1983 for her murder, but his attorneys had argued at trial that he did not rape her.
Investigators said they were unable to eliminate Steffen as a rape suspect by using a blood test on semen found on Range’s body, and DNA testing had not been developed at the time of Steffen’s trial.
A DNA test was performed last year, and Douglas was identified as a suspect after he was convicted March 17 of drug trafficking and ordered to provide a DNA sample.
Investigators discovered that Douglas had worked as a morgue attendant when Range’s body had been at the lab for testing, and prosecutors said he removed her body from a refrigeration unit and sexually assaulted it.
“There are no words to describe the disgust everyone associated with this case feels,” said Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters.
If convicted, Douglas faces up to 12 months in prison.
Douglas worked for the coroner's office from 1976 to 1992, and prosecutors added that they are investigating whether any other offenses were committed during that period.
"I think we have an obligation to the residents of this county to review every autopsy that occurred in his 16 years of service," Deters said.
Steffen admitted to killing Range and was indicted on two charges related to her slaying, but his attorneys have argued during appeals that his death sentence should be overturned because he had not raped her.

2 fathers slain in Boston drive-by
Two fathers were killed early yesterday and a third man was seriously wounded after a car pulled up to their vehicle in Milton and someone fired at least 14 rounds at them, authorities said.
Asa C. Finley, 26, of Mattapan was already dead by the time the driver of the Toyota Camry he was traveling in pulled up at Carney Hospital in Boston about 2:30 a.m., said Norfolk District Attorney William Keating.
He was the third person in his family to be shot to death, grieving relatives said yesterday.
The front-seat passenger, Rodney Almond, 37, of Milton died at the hospital, while a third passenger, Almond’s younger brother, 26-year-old Kenneth Harris of Mattapan, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The name of the driver, who was uninjured, was not released for his safety, Keating said.
The hail of gunfire occurred at the normally sleepy intersection of Randolph Avenue and Brook Road after the victims left a nightclub called The Vault in Randolph, Keating said. He declined to comment on a motive but said the shooting was not random. The fatal shootings were the first in Milton since Oct. 24, 2000.
A father of three, Finley had lost two cousins to gun violence.
“When the phone rang, I just knew it was one of those calls,” said his cousin, Dwight Thompson. “All I can hear in my head is his mother saying, ‘What am I going to tell the kids?’ ”
The younger of two children, Finley was raised in Roslindale and attended West Roxbury High School. A “phone-tech nut and Xbox demon” who loved basketball, he earned his graduate equivalency degree and was a full-time student studying chemistry at Roxbury Community College - when he wasn’t changing diapers and taking his three kids to day care and on family outings, relatives said.
“He wanted to do so much with his life,” said Stacey Montiero, his girlfriend and the mother of his children, ages 5, 3 and 1.
“His dream was to get a good job and provide for his family,” said his aunt, Maria Pruitt.
“This is what hurts the most,” said Kevin Bostick, a childhood friend. “His children are so young, they will never know him as their father.”
Odessa Ford, a friend of Almond’s, described him as a “nice young man, very polite.”
“He tried to help you if he could,” Ford said.
Almond’s sister, Stephanie Harris, said her brothers went with Finley and the driver to The Vault to meet up with friends and go to a party in Boston, but they never made it. No one from The Vault responded to requests for comment.
The eldest of six children, Almond was born and raised in Dorchester, attended South Boston High School and worked for his grandfather’s moving company.
He lived with his longtime girlfriend, his son and his stepson, all of whom his sister credited with changing his life.
“He made mistakes but learned from them and had a heart of gold,” Stephanie Harris said. “We need to stop the violence. They’re killing off our black men.”
Referring to recent shootings in nearby Randolph, Keating said, “If people look at this as a wake-up call, I think they’ve been asleep for a very long time. I hope people understand that what’s occurring on the street affects them, as well. Everyone is in jeopardy when this kind of reckless violence happens.”
Boy, 17, pleads guilty in mob attack
MOUNT CLEMENS -- A teen pleaded guilty Friday before Macomb Circuit Judge Edward Servitto Jr. to two felony charges in connection to a mob attack on three people in Mount Clemens on May 31.
Deonte J. Williams, 17, of Mount Clemens admitted to throwing a brick through a side passenger window of a passing vehicle on North River Road near the Gibraltar Trade Center.
Williams will be sentenced Aug. 25 for creating a riot, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, and assault with a dangerous weapon, a four-year felony. Williams' two misdemeanor charges -- malicious destruction of property from $200 to $1,000 and assault or assault and battery -- were dismissed.

Williams is being held in the Macomb County Jail.
"The proofs against him are overwhelming," Macomb County Assistant Prosecutor Steve Kaplan said. "He had no chance at trial."
A trial date is set for Aug. 13 for two other teens accused of participating in the attack that left one victim hospitalized with severe head injuries.
Steven D. Lincoln, 18, and Jemall R. Davidson, 16, of Clinton Township are charged with assault with intent to murder and creating a riot.
The assault charge is a felony that carries up to a life sentence with possibility of parole.
Servitto ruled that Davidson's confession -- which he gave while talking to authorities -- will be admitted since he indicated he understood his rights during the interview.
Defense attorneys for Lincoln and Davidson asked Servitto to toss out the riot and assault with intent to murder charges because they didn't feel witness testimony at the preliminary hearing provided sufficient proof of those crimes. They say one witness testified that each suspect kicked the victim just once.
Davidson's defense attorney, Randy Rodnick, said five people must be involved to be classified as a riot case.
"The testimony didn't indicate that," he said.
Servitto denied both motions, as well as defense attorneys' request for a change of venue.
"It's still fresh in the community's mind," said Micheal Kilpatrick, Lincoln's defense attorney. "I don't know how this gentleman can get a fair trial in this community."
Kaplan told the court that the request was "premature," pointing out that juries have been seated successfully for other recent high-profile murder trials in Macomb, including that of convicted wife killer Stephen Grant.
Police say the teens were part of a mob of 20-30 young men who assaulted a motorist and two others.

Give your best to the task at hand. That will prepare you and equip you for the next task, and the next.
Build what you can with what you have, and then build upon what you build. In this simple, steady, accessible way, whatever you envision is within your reach.

The Real Rick Ross speaks on Officer Ross from prison!
Incarcerated former drug kingpin “Freeway” Ricky Ross has decided to break his silence on the recent revelations into the past of the rapper that bears his name, Miami artist Rick Ross. Since the rapper’s debut, many have wondered of a possible connection, since the artist not only bears the name of the former kingpin, but also sports a similar beard and cites stories of extensive drug and criminal activity in his rhymes.
Now that the rapper, real name William Roberts, has been confirmed to have worked as a correction officer, the original Ricky Ross tells AllHipHop.com that he attempted to steer his rap counterpart away from public embarrassment.
“After seeing all the stuff that has been going on with the Correctional Officer (William Roberts) that stole my name, [it] makes me think back to a year and a half ago when we spoke,” Ross explained to AllHipHop.com. “I tried to talk to him like a big brother and let him know to be you, and that he couldn’t be me. And that if he wanted to rap the lifestyle that he couldn’t frame it based on my life.”
Roberts has repeatedly denied that he based his music persona on the real Ross’ criminal exploits.
Ross, who today regrets the actions that helped destroy his community and land him in prison, can only shake his head at the unnecessary predicament Roberts has put himself in.
“How different his life would have been if he would have taken my advice,” Ross reflected. “You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can’t fool all the people all the time.”
In the early and mid 80’s, Ross controlled most of the Los Angeles drug trade, and had ties to the Iran-Contra scandal due to his suppliers.
In 1996 Ross was sentenced to life in prison for attempting to purchase over 100 kilos from a federal agent.
He successfully appealed and had his sentence reduced to 20 years.
Ross is scheduled to be released on August 13, 2010.
How Long Should You Wait?
In the words of Brandy’s brother, Wait A Minute. There is a fine science to the art of waiting to give up the coochie. Some females wait a week to a few months others wait until they’ve drank the last sip of the drink he purchased at the club. But how long is too long?

Prison nurse charged with armed cocaine trafficking
TAMPA — A prison nurse from Valrico has been arrested and charged with armed cocaine trafficking.
Tampa Police detectives searched Oberdella Melvin's home early Wednesday and discovered close to 300 grams of cocaine, according to an arrest report.
Melvin, 46, who has worked at Zephyrhills Correctional Institution for six years, had 103 grams of crack cocaine, 191 grams of powder cocaine and various mixing bowls, digital scales, baggies and other paraphernalia at her 1105 Facet View Way residence, police said.
Deputies also found a revolver under her pillow.
Florida Department of Corrections spokeswoman Gretl Plessinger said the agency now is looking into Melvin's activities while on the job.
"At this point, it looks like she never tried to do anything inside the prison system," Plessinger said. "We're certainly disappointed to hear this, and we have concerns because of these charges."
Melvin joined the DOC in March 2002 and worked at the Zephyrhills the entire time, Plessinger said. The agency on Wednesday issued a notice to Melvin of "extraordinary dismissal" from her job.
Prison employees are subject to background checks, as well as random and frequent searches, as a matter of policy. Every employee entering a prison facility also is required to go through a metal detector, Plessinger said.
Melvin was being held without bail Wednesday on charges of armed cocaine trafficking, cocaine trafficking and possession of drug paraphernalia. State records indicated this was her first arrest.
According to DOC statistics, 310 agency employees were arrested in the 2006-07 year. One was arrested for introducing contraband into the system.

Rap Cassettes are Selling like Crack! in Jails
At a time when record sales have decreased dramatically due to downloading the thought of a business thriving off of CD and even cassette sales seems almost absurd, but a business owner in Los Angeles had made what may seem like the impossible possible.
Pack Central, a mail order company owned by Bob Paris, has earned over one million dollars annually for the past few years in CD and cassette sales from its bi-annual catalogue which is sent to prisoners.
Prisoners are able to purchase music from Pack Central through a trust account that is created on their behalf by family members who fund the account and Paris is reaping the benefits.
"I have dodged every conventional bullet that has hit most music retailers," the Pack Central owner told the New York Times. "I don't have to worry about downloading, legal or illegally. The beauty of it is that prisoners don't have Internet access and never will."
Since CDs are banned in most prisons, cassette's make up 60% of Pack Central's unit sales and for the past five years Paris has been stocking up on them.

I- IF THOU SHALL WIFE HER, THOU BETTER MAKE SURE SHE DOESN'T CARE IF YOU CHEAT.
As an athlete I can definitely understand why you would want to get married. You want to have some kids (not out of wedlock). You want someone you can confide in. You want someone you can be yourself around. You want someone who loves you for who you are and not what you are. Plus on top of that, it doesn't hurt to have a nice wholesome image for potential advertisers. As they say, getting married helps the "Q" rating.
But whomever you decide to marry, you better be sure she can handle the fact you are going to have many "side" women. Also, she better be able to handle the fact that women all over the country will be coming at you 24/7 365 days a year. Some women have the fantasy that if they marry an athlete he will be faithful. That is a recipe for disaster. So you may have to sit your lady down and explain to her that she is the main girl. Is that enough to make her happy? If not, you're going to have a lot of issues.
II- THOU SHALL ALWAYS HAVE A PRENUP.
In the immortal of Kanye West: "WE WANT PRENUP".
This should be the simplest rule of all. You make millions of dollars while she works part time of at Payless. That doesn't add up to 50/50. Even if you're following these commandments, there is still a good shot that your wife will leave you (see: Michael Jordan). So you need to protect yourself legally. If she doesn't want to sign the prenup, that should be your first clue that she might not be the one you want to marry. Be fair in the prenup. Offer enough money for her to be comfortable and more importantly to keep her mouth shut after the divorce.
III- THOU SHALL NOT CARE IF WIFEY CHEATS ON YOU.
I like to call this the Shaq rule. Shaq follows the cheating code to a tee. However, the one part that has cost him is, when he found out his wife was cheating on him, he flipped out and filed for divorce not realizing that all the dirt he has done would come to light.
If you are going to have different women in all 50 states and be gone half the time don't be naïve enough to think your wife won't sleep with the pool boy, after sitting at home alone in a huge house taking care of a couple of kids and not getting any sex. Don't be naïve and think your wife won't go to a club and sleep with a random guy who looks like Usher and maybe do it in the club. Don't be naïve if a "George" is whispering sweet nothings in your wife's ear, talking about how she deserves better and ends up playing "Bed Gammon" with her. She doesn't want a divorce, but she does want attention so don't overreact when it happens if you want to keep the majority of your savings account.
IV- THOU SHALL ALWAYS REMEMBER IT IS CHEAPER TO KEEP HER.
Simply put, who would you rather have deciding where your funds go: you or a judge? Much better to pay now than later. So if your wife sees you on TMZ.com with four strippers in a hot tube popping bottles it is better to just give her the American Express card than to have her visit the lawyer's office the next day. Take the hit and move on.
V- THOU SHALL NEVER SLEEP WITH ANYONE IN COLORADO NOR ANYONE NAMED KATIE WITH A JOURNALISM DEGREE, EVEN FROM A COMMUNITY COLLEGE.
I like to call these the "Kobe Bryant and Superhead Rules." Something about Colorado and girls named Katie just seems like a recipe for disaster. Actually, you should stay away from Colorado, Utah, Montana, North & South Dakota, West Virginia and any other place that has more mountains than Wal-Mart's. You should also stay clear of females named Katie, Nancy, Brit, Molly or any other name that sounds like they could have been an extra in Beverly Hills 90210.
Any woman that tells you that "writing" is her hobby should immediately be dismissed from your potential cheating list. The list thing you need is a scorned lover deciding the way she is going to pay off her student loans is by writing a tell-all book about how you like to dress up in a in a Batman costume before having sex.

Aww Officer Ross Is Mad At Us!!
While his only response thus far is a freestyle sent to MTV News saying he's "laughing at [the] blogs," Rick Ross is apparently standing by his denial that he previously worked as a prison guard — in the wake of documents posted on the TheSmokingGun.com that purportedly expose the MC's past employment as an officer for the Florida Department of Corrections.
The Smoking Gun's report claims that in 1995, at the age of 19, Ross (born William Leonard Roberts) started a career as a prison guard, earning a salary of $22,913.54. He reportedly held the position for 18 months. The rapper's Social Security number is the same as the one listed for the jail guard on documents giving to the site by D.O.C. spokesperson Jo Ellyn Rackleff. A photo of what looks likes a younger Ross in full uniform was also posted on the Web site and is said to have been taken at his graduation from the D.O.C. academy.
A few days ago, a videotaped interview of Ross was leaked to the Internet where a male voice confronted Mr. "M.I. Yayo" about what until then had been loose rumors and urban-legend-type talk among some music industry insiders.
"It's no truth to it," Ross flatly denied in the video.
Early Tuesday morning (July 22), someone going by the name "Mr. 305" released a video claiming that he in fact was in possession of more photos from Ross' alleged security-guard days. The trailer included what appeared to be a D.O.C. class picture featuring a man who looks like Ross dressed in full prison-guard garb.
Neither Ross nor his rep were able to be reached for comment about the accusations. Late Monday night, however, a source within his camp told MTV News that he planned to respond with a song. Around 1 a.m., we received two new freestyles from Ross, though he barely touched on the controversy. Over Snoop Dogg's "Life of da Party," he rhymed, "Bitch, I'm the boss and I'm laughing at your blogs." Later he went on to brag, "I'm the glue in the streets, meaning I can get you stuck/ The world knows where the fuck I'm from/ Sell rock, 20 chains and I never lost one .../ Heavy on the block, never on the Net."
The other freestyle is over the instrumental to Alicia Keys' "Teenage Love Affair" and doesn't mention the rumors, but talks about hanging out with a close female friend.
After over a decade of having his music relegated to the underground scene in Florida, Ross finally broke through in 2006 with the monster street banger "Hustlin'." The song turned into a club anthem, easily making him a household name in the hip-hop community. That year, Ross released his debut LP, Port of Miami, which was filled with tales of his transition into a cartel kingpin. The record was #1 on the Billboard albums chart in its first week of release. While records such as "Hustlin'," "Push It" and "Blow" were undeniable, the key to Ross' success and strong following were that the fans believed that he lived all, or at least most, of what he rapped. This year, Ross' second LP, Trilla, also bowed in the #1 spot, fueled by his hit "The Boss," featuring T-Pain. Ross' current single is "Here I Am" with Nelly. During his last sit-down with MTV News, the Miami native said he was hoping to release another album later this year called Deeper Than Rap.

NEWS: Hip-Hoppers Face Fines & Jail Time As Saggy Pants Are Outlawed
Many US cities have begun placing fines and penalties on individuals caught in public wearing saggy pants.
Village leaders in south Chicago’s suburb, Lynwood, have already approved an ordinance levying fines up to $25 against people showing at least three inches or more of their underwear, according to the Associated Press.
The law has received acclaim from Lynwood’s mayor, Eugene Williams, who claims half-dressed young men had previously kept the area from growing as major retailers and economic developers were swayed away.
According to Newsweek, a similar law has sprouted in Flint, Michigan as new police chief David Dicks has given approval to begin arresting “saggers” in addition to threatening them with jail time and fines. He has been quoted calling the popular urban style “immoral self expression” although the look has been around for decades.
“I’ve been sagging since the fourth grade,” Flint resident Jayson Miguel told Newsweek. “I’ll be sagging when I’m old and gray.”
As of today, Dicks has only issued warnings, but has promised anyone wearing their pants below their underwear violates the city’s disorderly conduct code and will be punished by 93 days to a year in jail or a fine up to $500.
The local chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union has begun taking matters in to their own hands telling the top cop he may either stop the policy or face a court battle. Attorney and president of ACLU Greg Gibbs felt the new law is simply based on personal dislikes of Dicks.
“Under no stretch of the imagination does wearing saggy pants that reveal the top of one’s boxer shorts violate the Flint disorderly conduct ordinance,” Gibbs said. “This man has basically taken his own dislikes of a style of dress and made it a violation of criminal law.”
In addition to the legal battle Dicks may face from Gibbs, the chief could also have an uphill racial fight as a Flint police officer called into a local radio station last week claiming officers were previously using the policy to profile minorities.

More Evidence on Officer Ross!
JULY 21--Apparently desperate to distance himself from any affiliation with law enforcement, the rapper Rick Ross has recently denounced as fake photos purporting to show him in a former career as a Florida prison guard. But Department of Corrections (DoC) records show that Ross, whose raps detail the Miami gangster lifestyle and his supposed days trafficking cocaine, did, in fact, work as a correctional officer for 18 months. Ross (real name: William Leonard Roberts) was appointed a prison guard in December 1995 at a salary of $22,913.54, according to the below personnel record, which was provided to TSG by Jo Ellyn Rackleff, a DoC spokesperson. The rapper's social security number is identical to that of the jail guard. According to the official document, Ross was earning $25,794.34 when he left the department in June 1997. After graduating from the DoC training academy, Ross was assigned to the South Florida Reception Center in Dade County (the lockup is one of three statewide that serves as an intake facility for new prisoners). When a photo of a uniform-clad Ross surfaced last week on MediaTakeOut.com, the 32-year-old performer claimed that unnamed "online hackers" put "my face when I was a teenager in high school on other peoples' body. If this shit was real don't you think they would have more specifics, like dates and everything?" He added, "Fake pictures are created by the fake, meant to entertain the fake." The photo, which you can find here, shows a 19-year-old Ross at a DoC ceremony (he was part of the department's 60th graduating class). He is pictured shaking hands with Marta Villacorta, who then headed the South Florida Reception Center. Villacorta, now the department's South Florida regional director, was identified by Rackleff, who examined the photo Ross claims was Photoshopped. In a recent videotaped interview, Ross replied, "No, that's not true" when asked if he had worked as a prison guard. He claimed that the phony story was being circulated by detractors upset by his success in the rap world, where, "I came out of nowhere and just took over the streets."

lil scrappy stabbed
Atlanta rapper Lil Scrappy, born Darryl Kevin Richardson II, has just been stabbed in Dekalb County.
The details are very sketchy right now, however what is known is that Lil Scrappy was on North Hariston Rd in Dekalb County when he was attacked. He is in stable condition and is in police custody.

A short time ago, Grammy award winning producer Scott Storch was one of the top producers in hip-hop and pop music. The victim of his own success, in three years the multi-platinum producer has watched his empire sink from excess spending, lavish living, high-profile relationships and poor money management.
Storch was one of the most sought after producers in music, crafting hits for Terror Squad (“Lean Back”), 50 Cent (“Candy Shop”), Dr. Dre (“Still D.R.E.”), Beyonce (“Naughty Girl”) and Chris Brown (“Run It”). Nowadays, the 34 year-old Jewish producer known for his notorious keyboard loops can barely be found.
According to an Associated Press report the producer is engrossed in dept that spans from failed property tax payments on his $10.5 million mansion and arrest warrants for several failed appearances in the child-support cases of his two sons.
Storch’s poor decisions have hobbled his music career. In the past the maestro commanded $100,000 per beat. Now, the embattled star has not been able to crack the Top 10 of Billboard Hot 100 since 2005 and has retreated into hiding.
“I think he’s embarrassed,” Vanessa Bellido, the ex-girlfriend and the mother of Storch’s first son, Steven, said in the report. “I don’t think he’s going to be right until he has his money.”
His child support lawyer, Guy Spiegelman, cites mismanagement for Storch’s downfall. The big spender no longer works with his old manager or publicist as he attempts to refinance his waterfront marble mansion and recover from the tumultuous year.
“There was some mismanagement and some other errors,” Spiegelman said. “He got jammed. I don’t think he’s going down, I just think he’s having difficulty. It’s a cash flow problem.”
Many say the money and fame went to his head. In 2004, Rolling Stone reported that he earned $70 million and dubbed him “hip-hop’s Liberace.” From dating movie stars and heiresses like Paris Hilton and Lil’ Kim, Storch’s success impacted his relationship with his sons, Steven and now 2 year-old Jalen Daniel who he birthed with Dalene Jennifer Daniel. Bellido and Daniel say Storch was inconsistent with payments but not a deadbeat dad.
“Once able to get his attention, he stepped up to the plate and did the right thing across the board,” said Jason Setchen, Daniel’s attorney.
“Scott’s not a bad person,” said Bellido. “I know he loves his son. He’s been irresponsible.”
To date, Storch hasn’t shown up for his court cases, but his lawyer has said he will meet his financial obligations. He recently paid the money owed to Daniel’s and the arrest warrant was lifted.
“I’d like to see him do the right thing so we can move on,” Setchen said

The NFL told the LA Times that it has reason to be concerned that its players may be celebrating plays by throwing up gang signs and get this … HAS HIRED EXPERTS TO EXAMINE GAME TAPES TO IDENTIFY ANY GANG GESTURE!
WOW! Can you believe that ish? It’s one of the dumbest things I ever heard in my life.
What I really want to know is who are these so called “experts?” Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube and Mack 10!? What in the world?
With mostly brothers in the NFL, this has more racial overtones to it than the NBA’s dress code rule. But the whole thing just seems like a waste of time to me.
My thing is why isn’t the NFL spending more time teaching them Zebras to get calls RIGHT!? We all know they got suspect whistles.
The other part of this is the NFL is overreacting to when the NBA fined Paul Pierce for allegedly throwing up a gang sign in the playoffs against the Hawks.
