The Evolution of "No Homo"

Didn't Men make the Cut Buddy Rules

Dear F. Buddy

Yes men did make the cut buddy rules, but we all don’t know them so I’ve included a few rules I wrote a while back. Here is what you do. Click the share this link in the bottom left hand corner of this blog and post this blog as a bulletin on your page. The rules are below.

1. The Sex Must Be Good - Under no circumstances is either party allowed to be lame in bed. Sure it happens to everybody, but under the Terms & Conditions of Cut Buddydum all sex must be the bomb. I could have stay home for regular s3x.

2. Arrival Time - Another one of the key obligations of a cut buddy is promptness. A cut buddy should always be on time and should arrive no later than 5 minutes of the schedule cut time.

3. Departure Time - This is equally important, as a cut buddy you are obligated to leave after the sex is done, or at least with in an hour. But seriously, it should be more like 5 minutes to a half hour. Do not fall asleep, to not try to cuddle unless you plan on starting round 2. Under no circumstances are you allowed to spend the night if you live in the same town/state.

4. Optional Obligations - A Cut buddy is not without options. Oral sex is an option and is not required when both parties are only on cut buddy status. There is no if you do me I’ll do you and as a cut buddy you are not allowed to demand oral sex. That is an optional feature that is not included in the standard edition.

5. Daytime Minutes - Sure as a cut buddy you can converse with one another but as a CB you are entitled to keep all daytime none sexual conversation to a complete and utter minimum.

Fox News: Sheppard Smith blasts Joe the Plumber for saying a vote for Obama means death to Israel

FBI arrests state senator on corruption charge

BOSTON — Massachusetts state Sen. Dianne Wilkerson was arrested by the FBI today and charged with accepting $23,500 in bribes from undercover agents she believed were local businessmen.
Wilkerson, the lone black member of the state Senate, was charged with attempted extortion as a public official and theft of honest services as a state senator. She faces up to 20 years in prison and $250,000 in fines on each count.

"Public service is a privilege, and voters and taxpayers expect that elected officials will do what's right for their constituents, not what is financially best for themselves, U.S. Attorney Michael Sullivan said. "The citizens of the Commonwealth deserve honest and faithful services from elected officials, uncompromised by secret payments of cash.''

Wilkerson, 53, lost the Democratic primary in September to Sonia Chang-Diaz, but was running a sticker campaign against her in the Nov. 4 election. She has held her seat in the Senate since 1993, but has faced a number of legal and ethical charges.

According to a federal criminal complaint, Wilkerson was recorded by audio and videotape accepting bribes.

Between June 2007 and March 2008, Wilkerson allegedly took $8,500 in cash payments from an undercover agent and a cooperating witness to help a proposed nightclub in her district get a liquor license.

She allegedly pressured the Boston License Board, Mayor Thomas Menino and the City Council on behalf of the nightclub, and delayed legislation that would have increased the salaries of members of the licensing board.

Beginning in June, she allegedly accepted $15,000 in payments in exchange for helping an undercover officer posing as a businessman to avoid the bidding process to develop state property in Boston's Roxbury neighborhood.

The new charges are the latest in a string of troubles to plague the lawmaker. Despite the problems, Wilkerson remained popular in her Boston district and was supported in her primary bid by Menino and Gov. Deval Patrick.

On Friday, the state Bar Counsel filed a complaint against Wilkerson accusing her of lying under oath in an effort to overturn her nephew's voluntary manslaughter conviction. The penalty could include disbarment.

The complaint alleges Wilkerson signed a false affidavit and lied at a 2005 court hearing seeking a new trial for Jermaine Berry. It says Wilkerson also lied to the bar counsel in its investigation of the allegations against her.

Green Brook businesswoman found slain in burning car

Tanya Worthy, a self-made businesswoman who lived in an expansive, million-dollar home in Somerset County, finished up her dinner at a Newark soul food restaurant Tuesday evening and ordered another meal to go. She told employees she'd be back to pick it up.

At about 5:15 p.m., she drove off in her BMW convertible. She never returned.

Tanya WorthyHours later, at 10:45, police in Elizabeth responded to a report of a burning car on Neck Lane, not far from Newark Liberty International Airport. Inside the vehicle, a white BMW, they found Worthy, the widow of a state trooper who died in a motorcycle accident nine years ago.
Today, as authorities declared Worthy a victim of homicide, investigators tried to determine where the 35-year-old Green Brook woman went and whom she saw in the hours before her death.

At the same time, family members struggled to process the loss.

"If there was a woman whose steps you wanted to follow, it was her," said Vonikue Tinny, a cousin. "She was an excellent role model. Who on earth would do this to her? Why?"

Authorities declined to say how Worthy was killed. In a statement, Union County Prosecutor Theodore Romankow said detectives with a newly formed homicide task force "are making progress" in the investigation. He declined to elaborate.

"Work is being done to bring those responsible to justice and give the victim's family some comfort during this difficult time," Romankow said.

The task force was created last month to deal with a growing number of slayings in Union County. Worthy was the 17th homicide victim this year and the 12th in Elizabeth. This afternoon, an 18th victim was discovered in a car several blocks from where authorities found Worthy.

Romankow, in a second statement, said there was no evidence to suggest the two killings were linked.

Worthy, who ran a party-planning firm out of her Green Brook home, was born and raised in Newark, said her father, Reginald Moore, who still lives in the city. Numerous relatives gathered at the father's home yesterday, consoling one another and waiting for answers from police.

The family members said Worthy attended a local parochial school and St. Patrick's High School in Elizabeth, graduating in 1991. She then studied business at Rutgers University's Newark campus, where she earned a BA.

She worked for 10 years training employees at Fleet Bank, then in 1999 moved to DeVry University, where she was a recruiter and motivational speaker. Among her duties was traveling to area high schools to encourage students to seek an education, whether at DeVry or elsewhere, relatives said.

"She was a take-charge woman," cousin Denise Dinielle said. "She was always very well-liked."

In August 1999, tragedy struck. Worthy's husband, Shawn Worthy, a state trooper for five years, was killed in an off-duty motorcycle accident. The couple lived in Piscataway at the time.

Later, Tanya Worthy regrouped and started her own business, As U Wish Event Planning, records show. Early last year, she bought the home in Green Brook for just over $1 million.

No one answered the door today at the taupe-colored mansion, which sits atop the first Watchung Ridge. The home sports a three-car garage, a turreted stone entranceway and a gorgeous view. Campaign literature and a religious pamphlet were stuck in the door. Worthy's family members said she lived in the home with her boyfriend.

The relatives were at a loss to explain why someone would want Worthy dead.

Tinny, the cousin, called Worthy a "peacemaker" who hated controversy. She was the type of woman who, when two friends weren't speaking to one another, would play the go-between to smooth things over. She was a success in every sense of the word, Tinny said.

Tuesday afternoon, Worthy went to one of her favorite restaurants, John's Place, for an early dinner. Two employees, who spoke on condition of anonymity for fear of retribution, called Worthy a regular at the soul-food spot, saying she ate there three to four times a week. Last November, when she turned 35, Worthy held a birthday party there, the employees said.

"Nice, nice lady," one of the employees said, adding that Worthy always dressed professionally and looked sharp, with Gucci handbags and Jimmy Choo shoes. Over 45 minutes Tuesday, Worthy ate a meal of chicken liver and onions with rice. Shortly after 5 p.m., she ordered a second meal of grilled chicken wings and macaroni and cheese.

She didn't say who it was for, the employees said, but they found nothing unusual in the request, noting that she often ordered takeout after eating.

She said she'd be back for the meal, then drove off in the BMW about 5:15 p.m., the employees said.

"Where she went after that, I don't know," the second employee said

Girls with Girlfriends

If women weren’t so selfish, there will be more threesomes in the world. I say that because there are a lot of bi-curious women in the world. All summer long I heard females blasting “I Kissed a Girl” Sure many of them listened to the song because they liked it, but they also like kissing girls.

In a Cinderella story to be written in the future, one of my ladies friends kissed her own boobs with me at the same time. Both her mouth and my mouth were on her nipples and I think it got her just a little bit hotter.

Most men claim to want a girl with a girlfriend, but do they really? I can tell you from experience that losing your girl to a girl is not a good look. The feeling I felt when I found out one of my exes was not with a female and a full pledge lesbian my manhood took a major hit. However there are some benefits to dating a chick who digs chicks, what do you do when you find your boo playing lay it down and lick it up with a female more beautiful than anything you ever stuck?

While having a threesome is something that I’m trying to do in the very near future before I settle down with my initial woman, I’m not trying to lose her to “Betty the Butch”. Another problem with your girl having a girlfriend is that she could… no she will manipulate you with threesomes and leave you potentially broke and have you spoiling her like milk left out in the sun for a week.

Not to mention that we already discussed that women are stingy, so you could end up never having the threesome you do desperately beg for. Just use Keith Sweat as an example, woman don’t like beggars.

Are you a bi-curious woman? Do you want a threesome?

Its Just Sex why are u Confused?

C.A.F. Confusion After [the f-word]ing. Why does this happen? We all have heard it said, sex confusing things. Two people have been talking as friends for a while and one too many long island ice teas later they’ve slept together and things gets nuts.

She now thinks she is his girlfriend. She starts checking his cell phone, looking under his car seats for condom wrappers and smelling his dick whenever she sees him. Even when they bump into each other at the grocery store. She starts to call his house at all times of the night to see if she hears “that B*tch” in the background. She does things she never has done before because she is now dicknotized.

He nows stalks her myspace page, threatens to beat up her play brothers, real brothers and cousins because they blinked in her presence. He shows up at her job, trying to take her out to lunch at 8am in the morning. She calls her 50 million times to which she ignores every single call like her phone doesn’t ring. He then calls from a block number like she didn’t see his number on her caller id 2 milliseconds earlier. SMCH

They are both confused. But for what? You just had sex idiots, you were drunk and horny and your “friend” was in the room at the time. It doesn’t mean you now hold the exclusive rights. It means that you just slept with your friend because you were drunk and horny. Or whatever the circumstances might be. It’s nothing more. Sex should never confuse things. Unless you define everything out nothing changes. Or I should say nothing should change. What do you think?

The break-down of types of groupies

1. The Gutter Groupies. These are the women who will wait outside the arena gates after a game and do anything, sometimes right there in the parking lot. If a player is feeling particularly chivalrous, he might let one service him in his Bentley. Gutter Groupies don’t spring for airfare and hotel rooms for NBA All-Star weekend. They won’t go that far to give a free blow job.

2. The Working Girls. The most prevalent category. Working Girls will bang a player if the opportunity arises, yes, but they won’t do just anything, and they don’t wait in parking lots. “They’re the ones reading In Style magazine but doing the Look for Less,” Brenda says. They’re mostly blue-collar, often from the hood, and more likely to be swept up by the “culture of the NBA” —which is to say, hip-hop—than by the actual game or the players. “They’re notch-in-the-belt party girls,” says Brenda, “who’d be happy with a fling with a bodyguard.” She pauses. “Basically, this is their hobby. Working Girls have a helluva lot more fun.”

3. The Fly Girls. These are the women who are just classy enough to merit a second encounter with a player. They might even get a piece of jewelry or a ride on the team’s private plane. To be a Fly Girl, you need to be toting real Louis Vuitton. “You also have to be really gorgeous,” says Brenda. A great many Fly Girls are often in denial, she says. “They refuse to see themselves as groupies. They need All-Star rehab or something.”

4. The Upper Crust. The stratospheric category of babe (see: Eva Longoria, Vanessa Williams, et al.) who might end up engaged or married (however briefly) to a player. The Upper Crust also includes women whose daddies or daddies’ lawyers can get them backstage with the players. They tend to be bony-assed white girls who may not marry the players—but won’t be left out on the curb, either."

ST. CHARLES COUNTY -- A jury has found Eric D. Winfrey guilty of first degree murder and first degree robbery in the fatal shooting of a worker at St. Charles storage facility.

The jury got the case shortly before 1 p.m. today.

Eric Winfrey, 39, was on trial for the murder of St. Charles storage facility employee Christopher Hanneken, 27, of Maryland Heights. Hanneken was shot once through the back of the head on June 2, 2004. A delivery man found him in a back room of the Storage USA office on Highway 94 in St. Charles. Authorities said $395 was missing.

Winfrey was charged with murder and robbery in the case. The trial began last Tuesday.

The case centered on Winfrey's wherebouts on the day of the killing and testimony by friends over how he obtained a gun. But investigators have acknowledged no evidence seized from the crime scene, Winfrey's car or apartment link him to the killing. Surveillance footage from the storage facility was stolen.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Dean Hoag, who was trying the case for the St. Charles County prosecutor's office, recapped for jurors evidence in the case. Hoag told jurors this morning they have a largely cicumstantial case to consider, but that testimony from dozens of witnesses corroborates Winfrey's guilt.

John Tucci, Winfrey's attorney argued the state's evidence is weak because of a lack of evidence at the crime scene.

"Proof beyond a reasonable doubt has not been offered," he said.

The Biggest Lie Told by Women

Women have a new number one lie, and it’s sweeping the nation. This lie has topped: “I gotta man”, “Sure I’m going to call you” and even “this is my real hair”. The new number one lie told by females is, “I got the bomb @ss pu$$y, and you wouldn’t know what to do w/ it” Really?!? Females have now taking over the role of lying on their goodies and I’m not going to take it anymore.

I kid you not I’ve heard that line from the last 10 women I’ve been with and out of the ten only 2 have had some good twat. Now if women believe all men say they have a big d!ck, I say all women say they have good pu$$y. Newsflash, we only tell you that because we want to bust a nut again and telling you the truth will block that from happening… At least with you.

I’ve heard the tales of how women have these men running back to them, of how she got this for doing that and even “you can throw my pussy in the air and it will turn to sunshine.” Yeah right. There was only a few times in my life where I stuck it in and was helpless but to repeat OMG over and over again. Maybe that’s why the majority of my google traffic comes in from women googling “How Do You Know You got Good P*ssy”

But, be happy, b/c true good cooch is a curse, it will take over all rational thoughts in your head, it will start to think for you. When the lights need to be paid the vagina will debo the brain for control of the body and you’ll end up sleeping w/ Joe Sixpack to get the lights paid. The same goes for rent, the car note and those new boots that YoYo had on at the Negro Awards. Yeah I said YoYo

But unlike Good d*ck good V.J.J. loses it’s goodness with-in a few years. The water runs dry, the tightness leaves, the warmth gets a little bit colder on the D. So, when your ocean waves no longer pound the shore like they once did take it easy and understand that it’s alright to have regular @$$ pu$$y.

Teenage Women Arrested for Dallas Murders

Dallas police have two 19-year-old women in custody who they say are responsible for the robberies and shooting deaths of two men in Dallas.

Officers arrested Jeremisha Adams and Britney Gulley Thursday night.

They are charged in the October 5 murder of Jose Molina who was killed in the parking lot of a Northeast Dallas apartment complex.

Witnesses told police that two men had walked up to the victim's truck, demanded money and then shot him.

They are also being questioned in the September 27 murder of a man outside the Crystal Ballroom in the 2800 block of Northwest Highway.

The victim was attending a party with his daughter and stepped outside to use his cell phone when he was shot to death.

Police suspect Gully may be tied to a total of 8 crimes.

Two brothers killed in wild shootout outside Brooklyn nightclub

Cops shot and killed two brothers in a hail of 18 bullets during a wild melee outside a Brooklyn nightclub early Sunday, NYPD sources said.

Investigators believe Dwayne David, 22, and Kayshawn Forde, 21, fired a volley of shots at a crowd and then charged at the cops with their handguns raised.

As the siblings bore down on them, the cops returned fire and mortally wounded the two suspects outside RJ's Place on Rutland Road in Brownsville, the sources said.

"When I ran out, I saw two bodies on the ground," said witness Mohamed Ahmed, 32, a local deli owner. "One of them was opening their mouth, trying to stay alive."

Police said the shootings appeared to be justified under department guidelines.

The mother of the dead men mourned the deaths of her two sons, whom she had frantically tried to call after hearing the shots.

"Both died - my two sons died," said Dale Baptiste. "I looked through the window and saw [my] child lying down in the drain."

She said her sons were bystanders and accused the cops of whitewashing the shootings.

The fatal gunfight erupted after two plainclothes officers, one a lieutenant, responded to a call of a fight at RJ's Place, sources said.

The officers parked a few feet from the club and watched as a dark blue Dodge Charger sedan pulled up outside the club.

Forde, David and another man hopped out of the car and one of them yelled out, "Give me the ratchet," slang for gun, sources said. Someone handed the man a 45-caliber semiautomatic handgun, sources said.

The men then ran toward the fracas going on outside the lounge and fired several shots into the mob, police sources said. One witness told investigators the gunmen were coming to the aid of a friend who was being attacked, although it was not clear what ignited the original fight.

As the two brothers dashed back toward their car, they were confronted by the two plainclothes cops, sources said.

One cop screamed at them to stop, later insisting to investigators that he "yelled so loud that they'd hear it in the Bronx," a police source said.

Believing that he was under fire as the brothers kept running toward him, the cop started shooting as he scrambled back toward his car, blowing out the window of the unmarked police car as he fired.

Forde collapsed next to the car, his semiautomatic clattering to the concrete.

David staggered a few feet before falling amid a crowd of several people. Investigators, who found no second weapon, believe someone picked up David's gun and ran.

Police said the cop fired 16 rounds, while the lieutenant - identified by sources as Larry Burnham, 38 - fired twice.

As police moved to quickly seal off the block, the brothers' relatives rushed outside to comfort the bleeding men while they waited for paramedics to arrive.

"Dwayne was by the car gasping for breath," said his cousin Roxanne Rawlins. "I was holding Kayshawn's hand because he was in and out [of consciousness]."

The brothers died minutes later at local hospitals.

Both had arrest records for assault and disorderly conduct, but no gun-related charges.

The third suspect, who was not identified, was taken into custody two blocks away. Charges against him were pending last night

Jennifer Hudson’s Sister Pleads for Son’s Return

Jennifer Hudson’s sister Julia Hudson made an emotional plea today for the return of her son who has been missing since yesterday afternoon when Hudson’s mother and brother were found shot to death in their home.

Questions had been raised concerning Julia’s whereabouts when it appeared that someone logged into her Myspace page to accept friend requests this morning:

The older sister of actress Jennifer Hudson pleaded for the return of her missing son at the family’s church on the South Side of Chicago.

Julia Hudson made the public plea Saturday for her 7-year-old son, Julian King, who was reported missing Friday from the family’s home. The same day, Hudson’s mother and brother were found shot to death in the home.

Julia Hudson said Jennifer Hudson flew to Chicago after learning the news and the sisters have “been together since.”

The 31-year-old woman spoke from the church podium with the boy’s father, Greg King, at her side. She said her son “doesn’t deserve this.”

“All I ask, I don’t care who you are, just let my baby go. Please. I just want my son,” the actress’ sister, Julia Hudson, said in a tearful plea for the safe return of her son at Pleasant Gift Missionary Baptist Church, the family’s church.

Asked if anyone would want to take the boy, she said, “I don’t know. I don’t care. I just want him back.”

Julian’s father, Greg King, spoke outside the church briefly. “I just want my son,” King said. “He needs to come home.”

Julia Hudson said her son was very close to his grandmother, who took care of him when Hudson went to work.

Speaking to the public, Hudson said, “I want you to keep your eyes and your ears open.”

Hudson said the deaths of her mother and brother has left her close-knit family “in a state of shock.”

“It hurts,” she said. “I don’t know what else to do besides pray.”

5 Dates For A Recession

Life doesn’t stop because the economy is in turmoil. The Dow gains 200 points one day and loses 500 points the next and somebody wants you to go on the date. Did I mention you’re going dutch? Nothing is wrong with that if you’re an independent woman, but no one wants to pay 90 bucks to go see a movie, eat stale popcorn, and drink flat soda, only to have the loud mouth guy behind you be funnier than the actually movie. So I’ve come up with 5 great date ideas that are friendly for a wallet during the recession.

Happy Days - During happy hour, bars and restaurants have wonderful deals like 40 cent wings, 2 dollar beers and 3 buck beverages. You can spend this time having great conversation over some drinks and good food. Remember the food and drinks don’t change just the prices.

Get Cultured - Museums, Art Galleries and public parks are generally free. So why not take advantage of some of the tourist attractions your town has to offer? Chances are you haven’t been there and if you have you were probably like 5 the last time you visited. There are tons of things you can do there, mainly laugh at out of towners. As we know nothing brings a couple closer than laughing at other people.

Brunch - It’s not really breakfast and it’s not really lunch, but it’s a great way to get great food, for a great price. Here in Atlanta there are plenty of trendy spots who offer brunch buffets, so why not head there after a morning snack?

Kesha’s House - Admit it we all know at least 5 women named Kesha, and I’m willing to bet money that one of them are having something at their house this weekend. So, why not bring your new friend? Free drinks, free food and you can take home a plate!!

Combo Value Date - Grab your laptop, put on your sneakers and something relaxing to wear and go for a walk. Not just any walk a walk to the book store. I don’t know about y’all, but I can spend hours in the book store just getting lost in all the information available at the turn of the page. After you’re done browsing, walk some more to a coffee shop and relax over a nice hot cup of Joe.(Not the plumber) The two of you can crack open the laptops and browse the internet together. Which honestly is one of the funniest things I think a couple can do together. After you’re done with your coffee, latte or whatever you call it, head back to the house and get busy.

St. Louis toddler shot to death in Pagedale

PAGEDALE -- A 17-month-old boy from St. Louis was killed Tuesday night when someone fired shots at his father's car. The boy -- Rashaad Bobbitt -- died at 9:41 p.m. Tuesday at St. Louis Children's Hospital, according to the St. Louis County medical examiner's office.

Rashaad's family lives in the 5700 block of Amelia Avenue in north St. Louis. The boy was riding in a car driven by his father, Richard Bobbitt, when it was hit by gunfire about 5:45 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Kingsland Avenue and 70th Street.

Bobbitt had just finished boxing at a gym in Pagedale while Rashaad and Rashaad's mother, Chinara Meeks, slept in their red Ford sedan. They woke up and left the gym's parking lot. That's when the shooting started.

"Two minutes after we pulled out of the boxing gym, they shot it up," said Meeks. 20. "My baby was in my arms. He's the only one who got shot."

Meeks said Rashaad was hit once in the back of the head.

Police say 13 bullets were fired at the car.

The car carried two other young children -- two boys, ages 4 and 5 -- in the backseat, but they weren't hit. After the shooting, the boy's father drove to the Pagedale Police Department about six blocks away to get help, Pagedale Police Chief G. Thomas Walker said Tuesday night.

As they rushed to the police station, Meeks said she tried to give her son mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. She had learned CPR while attending school to become a medical assistant.

"My baby never opened his eyes after he got shot," Meeks told the Post-Dispatch this morning.

It happened so fast, Meeks said, that she never got a good look at the shooters or their car.

"I just remember tinted windows," she said.

A witness told police that the shooter's car could be a newer-model gray or silver Chevrolet Impala or Malibu with tinted windows. That car was seen in the intersection at the time of the shooting.

Detectives with the St. Louis County Police Department are handling the investigation. No suspects have been identified. Walker, the police chief of Pagedale, said it's likely that the boy's father was the intended target. Meeks agreed.

"It had to be," she said. "That's the only thing I can think of."

Meeks, who works as a server at a downtown hotel, said she gave birth to Rashaad on Mother's Day 2007. He was born with a skull disorder and had to undergo surgery to have his skull reshaped, she said.

"He was a survivor," she recalled.

Meeks said Rashaad was a happy boy who was just learning the parts of his face and would proudly point them out when asked.

"He loved me so much," she said. "He kissed me all the time."

Meeks said Rashaad enjoyed watching Sponge Bob and that she was trying to find him a Sponge Bob Halloween costume.

The boys in the backseat were Bobbitt's 4-year-old son and Meeks' 5-year-old son. Meeks, who turns 21 on Saturday, is reeling from her son's murder -- and trying to calm her other son.

"My 5-year-old seen them take his brother away," Meeks said. "He woke up screaming."

Take One For The Team

Imagine waking up next to someone who had the nose of Jay-Z, hair like Brandy, and mouth like the Crypt Keeper and knowing exactly how you got there. You willingly dealt with an ugly person just so your friend can have their way with the extremely attractive friend. It's called "taking one for the team."

We've all done it before and we really don't mind. Nothing is forcing us to share our bed with the ugly friend but what bothers me is when the ugly friend does not know you're only entertaining their conversation so your friend can close the deal with their friend. I know a woman who looks like Jason Vorhee's without the mask, yet she always has a fly dude on her arm. It's this reason that her confidence is through the roof and she blast dudes for not liking her. What she doesn't know is that all the men she does get, is only because her best friend is a super model whose looks are amplified by having the female Jason following her around.

We have to stop the practice of gassing the heads of ugly people for the benefits of our friends. I say our friends are grown, they can jump in the pit of wolfs, cougars and salty friends to get what they want. No need for us to hold their hand and distract the ugly friend from hating. So from here on out, I am no longer taking one for the team!

Have you ever dealt with the ugly friend for the sake of a your friend?

Three teens arraigned in Henry Ford High slaying

DETROIT -- Three teens were arraigned today in 36th District Court in connection with last week's shooting near Henry Ford High School that left one student dead and three others injured.

Devon Bell and Derryck Brantley, both 18, and 15-year-old William Morton each were charged with one count of first-degree murder; three counts of assault with intent to commit murder; and one count of felony firearm. If convicted, they will serve life in prison.

Brantley is the son of Detroit homicide detective Derryck Thomas, and the car allegedly used in the shootings is registered to Brantley's mother, police said. Detroit Police on Friday turned the case over to Wayne County prosecutors because it involved a Detroit officer. Prosecutor Kym Worthy then handed the case to Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox, because Worthy said her office often worked with Thomas.

Magistrate Millicent Sherman denied bail to the three teens. A preliminary examination is scheduled for Oct. 30.

Christopher Walker, 16, a student at Henry Ford, was killed in the shootings that students say stemmed from a long-festering gang problem at the school.

Three other students also were shot, but were not targets, investigators said.

They are recovering from wounds that are not thought to be life-threatening.

Brantley's attorney, Otis Culpepper, said his client was a "witness at best."

Culpepper said Brantley was at the school to give his girlfriend, a Henry Ford student, a ride home.

"A friend asked if he could give another kid a ride and he gave him his keys and let him know his stuff in the trunk," he said.

Culpepper said Brantley drove the two youths to the high school. The teens got out and took their belongings from the trunk. Culpepper insisted that Brantley did not know there was a gun in the trunk.

"He heard shots and then the two got back in the car," said Culpepper. "He drove them for three blocks and then asked them to get out."

Culpepper said his client turned himself in to police over the weekend and was released on $50,000 bond. Culpepper asked Sherman to continue that bond but Donna Pendergast, a prosecutor with the Michigan attorney general's office, argued that new information had come forward in the case since then.

"Evidence is being developed to implicate the defendant (Brantley)," she said. "By the defendant's own statement, he took this person who had two guns drove them to where the shooting occurred, took the guns out the trunk and then let them back in the truck."

Sherman sided with Pendergast and remanded Brantley to the Wayne County Jail.

Morton was represented by attorney Ron Cromer. Devon Bell was not represented.

Family members of Brantley were in the courtroom.

Meanwhile, a Detroit homicide lieutenant has been transferred to another unit while city police investigate whether he violated policy by releasing Brantley following the shootings.

Lt. Steve Walton interviewed Brantley shortly after the shooting. After the interview, Walton allowed him to go home; now Detroit police officials are looking into what policy, if any, Walton may have violated, said Daniel Cherrin, spokesman for Detroit Mayor Kenneth Cockrel Jr.

"They've moved the lieutenant to another unit while they investigate what happened," Cherrin said. "Right now, they want to find out if he violated any rules by releasing (Brantley) during the course of the investigation."

You Are not my Mother

I’ve heard women say they can learn a lot about a dude by how he treats his mother. This somehow sheds some light on how he would treat a lady friend in the context of a relationship. Ya boy disagrees. There are so many variables that go into how one treats his mother that it’s almost impossible to get a real idea of how he’s going to treat a woman based on his actions toward the one that birthed him. But for the sake of discussion, let’s use my interaction with momma dukes as an example.

I treat mom as best as I can. When she calls, I answer no matter where I am even though I live in a different city. When I make trips home, I do whatever I can in the 2 days that I’m there because I know she doesn’t have a whip (pronounced car). I make her laugh, and I try my best to make her life easier. After more than 25 years of providing for me and ensuring I always had what I needed, she deserves the reciprocity. Women who see how I treat moms shouldn’t get it twisted. There is a pretty good chance they won’t even get close to the same treatment unless they’ve passed all tests and earned the “put a ring on it” award. At that point, the lucky lady has proven herself worthy of receiving the treatment similar to, but not greater than, that which I show my mother.

To put it another way, because a man treats his mom well doesn’t mean he will treat you well. He’s developed a relationship with his mom over the years and she’s done a lot for him. He loves his momma for all of this. He doesn’t necessarily love you. If you want that treatment from a dude, it needs to be earned over time. On the flip side, just because a dude doesn’t treat his moms well doesn’t mean he’ll treat you like toilet rubbish. Who knows why the dynamics with his moms are somewhat unpleasant. Maybe he came home early from school as a child and saw mom with the mailman while pops was at the construction site earning that check. He was out there layin brick while someone was layin pipe. That could make a young fella bitter for life.

But regardless ladies, since I’m primarily talking to you, don’t put too much into figuring out how a dude treats his mother. This is assuming you even get the chance to meet his mom. Do what you need to do and you’ll get the treatment you deserve. And yes, it really is that simple.

KATV's Anne Pressly Attacked in Home

Little Rock - Little Rock police are investigating an early-morning home invasion that has left a KATV morning anchor hospitalized.

According to authorities, Anne Pressly, 26, is in critical condition at a Little Rock hospital after being found in her home with what police call “severe wounds.” Early reports said Pressly had been stabbed or cut, but Monday afternoon investigators confirmed the injuries occurred from blunt force trauma to the head and upper body.

Pressly was discovered around 4:30 a.m. by her mother, who became concerned after ‘wake-up’ calls to her daughter went unanswered.

Police say there were no suspects as of mid-afternoon Monday, but that the attack may have come during a robbery, because Pressly's purse was missing.

Investigators have spent the day talking to friends and co-workers of Pressly's to find out if she had been threatened.

The last known contact with Pressly was between 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Sunday, when she attended a surprise party for a co-worker at a Little Rock restaurant.

Word of the attack spread as KATV employees arrived for work Monday morning. Several friends and co-workers gathered with Pressly’s family at the hospital throughout the day. During the station's 11:30 a.m. newscast Monday, anchor Jason Pederson read a story about the attack and confirmed Pressly was hospitalized.

If It Smells Like Trout....Get Out!!!

If she smells like sanitation garbage, I’ll turn like door knobs. All women face the problem of having the fishy woo woo at some point in there life. Whether it’s after a day at the gym, a hot summer’s day or just because she failed to wash herself properly. It’s embarrassing when it smells during sex, and frustrating to us men.

Vaginal odor is a natural thing, but when she starts smelling like the garbage at red lobster there is a major problem which may even be caused by a STD. What surprises me most about this topic is that 9 times out of 10 women don’t recognize they smell like “Finding Nemo” and they still expect oral sex. I like seafood as much as the next man, but when it smells like trout I get out.

How do you tell a woman, you care about enough to have sex with that her smell is not appealing. If you have a rational women you should be able to just come straight out and tell her she stinks. But, if you’re not that blunt there are subtle things you can do to make her aware of the problem.

1) Dip & Sniff – This is when you get a bit of the smell on your finger and place it near her nose so she can smell herself. If her face tightens up then you can ease into a conversation about her vaginal hygiene.
2) Soaps and Body Sprays – Although nothing is worst than covering up a stink with floral scent if you purchase enough smell goods eventually she’ll get the point and ask herself is he trying to tell me something?
3) Stop – If all else fails the only thing left, is to stop having sexual intercourse with her. She’ll be left wondering why and knowing females she’ll ask why haven’t the 2 of you been intimate with each other. When you start the conversation please remember to use kid gloves.

Opa-locka rapper killed in drive-by shooting

An Opa-locka rapper known as Toro was shot dead in a drive-by shooting early Saturday in North Miami-Dade.

Derek Johnson, 23, was with another man inside their car on Northwest 119th Street and Sixth Avenue about 4 a.m. when a silver sedan passed by.

From inside the sedan, Miami-Dade police say, bullets sprayed the two, killing Johnson and leaving his companion with a minor wound. Detectives did not have a description of the shooter.

Johnson was gunned down near Coco's, a popular strip club.

The rapper was featured on the song Ride with local hip-hop star Rick Ross.

On his Myspace.com page, Johnson touts himself as the ''best n---a breathin!'' and names notorious North Miami-Dade gangs such as the John Does, Boobie Boys and Zoe Pound.

''I'm not influenced by rappers I'm influenced by gangsters,'' he wrote on his Myspace page, which, by early evening Saturday, was filled with messages of condolences from his friends.

Johnson and his sister were raised in Opa-locka by their grandmother, Addie Baldwin.

''I'm in a state of shock,'' Baldwin said. ``He was easy going, everybody loved him -- we thought.''

3 Ways To Handle Drunk People

It’s happened to all of us before, maybe just one time, or maybe every time we go to the club, the drunk person. Breath smelling like hot garbage freshly dropped from the as* tunnel of hybrid version Macy Gray and T-Pain. Loud jumbled non-sense spewing from their trap and no clue of what the word no means. They always want to do something that starts with the letter F, from Fight, F*ck or Fly. But how does one deal with the drunk person? Here are a few tips to keep you entertained instead of annoyed.

1. Make Stuff Up - One thing I like to do when I encounter a drunk girl is talk real slow and say the same thing over and over again, but make sure that the same thing you keep saying is a totally unrealistically LIE. I once told this drunk girl with yellow teeth that I was The Vice President of The Lifestyle Condom Company in New Jersey and I was here on business. Told her I wrote 7 best selling books for the New York Times on how to roll and dispose a condom properly. She ate it up big time, like a fat kid at a Buffet. She wanted to give me her number bad so I gave her a random card in my wallet told her to write her number on the back, and then handed her the same card as my card.

2. Ask Them Stuff - Not even an episode of Dave Chappelle is as funny as interviewing a drunk person but here is the key, you have to ask them the most outlandish questions on the face of the earth like “If you were a Chicken with Super Powers what would you use for transportation since chickens don’t fly”

3. Sleep With Them - The look on their face when they wake up with a hangover, and no idea of who you are… Priceless. No I’m just joking, never sleep with a drunk person b/c you might end up in a semi 2 girls 1 cup situation if you know what I mean. Nothing is worst than getting thrown up on.

Armed Security Guard Runs Away During Armed Robbery

Toddler found abandoned in Hartford

Hartford (WTNH) -- A search is underway to try and locate the family of the toddler found left alone in his stroller Saturday night.

Mary Melvin has seen a lot in the 17-years she's lived at the Atwood Apartments, but she never expected to find a toddler alone on her doorstep.

"I was picking up my mail and the baby was here, in the corner," Melvin said. "You couldn't see him from the road."

The little boy, estimated to be 18-months to two-years-old, was sitting in his stroller right in the lobby for at least two hours, Melvin thinks.

"I was surprised, you know," Melvin said. "I didn't know what to make of it at first."

So, she called the police.

"It does not appear to be a neglect issue here as far as the child's clothing, how well he was kept," Lt. Mark Tedeschi of the Hartford Police Department said. "He appeared to be clean."

But, the toddler isn't able to form words according to police and they have little to go on. All they do have is the positioning of the apartment building being right next to Saint Francis Hospital, some surveillance video of the area, though not inside the apartment building because there are no cameras there, and some DNA extracted from the stroller to run in their database. It's a long shot they say.

Hartford police tell News Channel 8 they handle about 100 missing children cases annually, but they say this time is different.

"In this case it's reverse," Lt. Tedeschi said. "Typically we know the name of the child. A parent comes forward with the information that's missing.

"These steps are reverse. We don't have any information for this child at all. We have the child," he said.

Police hope his playful smile, the writing on his shirt -- "If mom says no, ask grandma" -- and the make of the stroller will jog someone's memory and give them a clue.

The toddler is in DCF custody. Police say if they get no leads they'll use the Crimestoppers billboards.

If anyone has any information they're asked to contact Hartford Police detectives at 860-757-4000.

Jacksonville man gets life for rape, murder of blind woman

A convicted child abuser was sentenced today to life in prison for the rape and murder last year of a blind Jacksonville woman in her apartment.

Jermaine David Wilson, 24, previously pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and sexual battery and faced 30 years to life. He told police he strangled Dominique Harden in her Westmont Street apartment after she refused sex. He was the boyfriend of her best friend, said Assistant State Attorney Bernie de la Rionda.

Harden, 21, went blind at 18 and moved from her home in St. Augustine to Jacksonville to be closer to the Division of Blind Services, de la Rionda said.

3 Arrested After Woman Found Dead In River

INDIANAPOLIS -- Three men have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a woman whose body was found floating in the White River earlier this month.

Police questioned and later arrested Jerry Williams (pictured, left), Luther Bonds (pictured, middle) and Steven Brown (pictured, right) in the death of Britney Tate, 21.

Indianapolis police said Bonds told them he was Tate's boyfriend and had gone for a ride with her, Williams and Brown on Sept. 30

Bonds told police that Williams was playing with a gun in the back of a car when an argument began over the weapon.

Brown told an officer that Tate gave Williams a dirty look during the argument and that Williams said, "Don't tell me what to do," before he pointed the gun at Tate's head and pulled the trigger, killing her.

Police said all three men took Tate's body to the river. Before she was tossed in, the men tried to tie rocks to her body with a shoestring to keep the body from floating, investigators said. When police went through Williams' belongings at the jail, they found just one shoestring.

Tate's body was found on Oct. 3. Williams and Bonds were arrested on unrelated charges a few hours after the body was discovered.

"They were in a vehicle that was going the wrong way and then they fled from police," said Indianapolis police Sgt. Matt Mount. "They found a weapon on him. That weapon, with ballistics testing, proved to be the murder weapon."

Brown and Bonds were arrested on charges of assisting a criminal, abuse of a corpse and obstruction of justice. Williams was expected to be charged with either murder or manslaughter and abuse of a corpse.

Women Vs Bitches

Please keep in mind that I use the word b*tch in the form of: Being a random b*tch from the block or a female who a man does not care about other than having sex.

Chivalry is dead and women killed it. With all due respect some of you females are b*tches. They floss around town acting as if their sh*t don’t stink, when the size of their turds are as big as Iron Mike Tyson’s neck in his prime. If this was House Party you are the person who broke the toilet. They problem stems from men who will sleep with anything with a whole between their legs, causing chicken heads to get big headed like babies with down syndrome. They trick off on women to get them to do things they would have done for a number 2 from McDonald’s.

In turn good men get abused, and taken advantage of because this she got spoiled by men who tricked on her to get some booty. Never thinking that the Louie bag on her arm is faker than her hair color and in some cases the hair on her head itself. It corrupts the beautiful soul of not only her true self, but real women everywhere. I’ve come to realize that women don’t want a good man. They don’t want a man whose is going to treat her like a queen, but would rather have a man who will make her chase him. Give her ideas that he’s cheating on her and she can’t get enough of him.

Real women are having a very difficult time finding a good man who wants more than just to have sex with them and get head in the strangest places. The key fundamental in being a sexual intellectual is to be able to try new things with the person you’re involved with and not random people. There is nothing wrong with wanting to have a 3 some if that’s what you and your partner wants to do. There is nothing wrong with wanting to swallow if your lover enjoys the act. The problem stems from b*tches doing these things to every man they meet for a designer bag, VIP access or a full tank of gas… Sometimes less.

It’s guilt by association, when you have women who want to do things, but are scared to be labeled or categorized as one of them b*thces. When did being a stuck up b*tch become acceptable?

Man charged with shooting girl on CTA bus

A South Side man was charged Thursday with the shooting death of a high school student aboard a CTA bus -- one day after he surrendered at a South Side church, authorities said.

Milton Wardlaw, 24, was charged with first-degree murder in the shooting of Kiyanna Salter as she rode the No. 71 bus with her cousin Sunday night, prosecutors said.

Salter's family spent part of Thursday planning her funeral. They also expressed thanks to the family of Wardlaw, who turned himself in after an anguished plea from his mother.

"I'm glad they put it out there like they did," said Sonja Nelson-Wilcox, Salter's aunt. "I know it was hard, but sometimes you have to show tough love in order for these kids to do right. By her showing tough love, he did the right thing.''

Salter's shooting was captured on security cameras on the bus. Detectives released a photo of Wardlaw in the hours after the shooting, prompting his mother to plead with him to come forward.

Salter was a senior at Julian High School who loved fashion design and basketball. She and her 18-year-old cousin were on their way home from visiting a sick aunt when she was shot on the bus at 71st and Cottage Grove.

Jasmine Wilcox, the cousin riding with Salter on the bus, said Salter was shot after two passengers got into an altercation.

Wardlaw, of the 7100 block of South University, is scheduled to appear today in bond court.

Woman Charged In Crash That Left 1 Dead, 10 Hurt

ST. PETERSBURG - Police say they weren't chasing an 18-year-old pickup driver when she bolted from a traffic stop and crashed, killing a bicyclist then injuring half a dozen others when the truck flipped into a crowd.

The woman, listed in records as Denise Battles and Denise Battle, is expected to be charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving death, vehicular homicide, fleeing and eluding, and driving without a license where a death occurred, said Mike Jockers, St. Petersburg police traffic homicide investigator.

Police arrested her Thursday, a day after she fled from the crash scene on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street south of 22nd Avenue South, police said.

They gave this account of the incident:

Battles was driving a Dodge Ram carrying two passengers on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street when St. Petersburg police Officer Matthew Stringfellow saw the pickup weaving shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday. Stringfellow flicked on his police lights, but not his siren, and the pickup took off. Stringfellow flicked his lights off and did not chase the pickup. Later, investigators would learn the passengers were screaming at her to slow down, Jockers said.

After driving about nine blocks, Battles lost control of the truck. It appears she tried to avoid hitting the bicyclist, who was riding on the street. The pickup hit him, severing his leg and throwing him into a concrete pole.

He died at the scene. He was identified as Steven Mincey, 49, who lived nearby at 840 13th Ave. S.

The truck was going at least 65 mph, Jockers said.

When Battles turned the steering wheel to avoid Mincey, a back wheel slid, the tires squealed and a crowd scattered at Ike's Liquor Store, 1205 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. The Ram slid toward them, struck a curb and flipped onto cars and people.

One was James Lewis, 67, who was standing or sitting at the hood of his 1987 Mercury. Lewis was in critical condition Thursday at Bayfront Hospital.

Six others in the crowd also were injured: a man and woman listed in stable condition, a man who was treated and released and three women who were treated and released.

The pickup hit three cars.

Battles' two passengers also were injured. Lucretia Mullan was listed in guarded condition Thursday and Shalunda Jenkins was treated and released.

Battles and one of her passengers caught a ride to Bayfront, Jockers said. The passenger stayed at the hospital but Battles checked in, sat in a wheelchair bleeding, then got up and left.

Police found her and took her to Ed White Hospital, where she was treated for a cut to her forehead.

The pickup, rented from Enterprise, was reported stolen about 30 minutes after the wreck, Jockers said. Police don't think the pickup was stolen.

In a brief statement to police, Battles acknowledged she was in the pickup, had been drinking and using marijuana and ecstasy, but insisted a man had been behind the wheel, Jockers said.

Designer Vaginas - The Quest For Good P*ssy

Everybody wants good p*ssy. Men want to stick it, women want to get it. women want good p*ssy so much that they are getting cosmetic surgery to achieve it their goal. ‘Operations to make the external appearance more “attractive” and reshaping the vagina to counter laxity after childbirth.’ I think that’s a bit extreme when all you have to do are a few simple exercises to get it tighter. So, for all the ladies who want to know exactly what good vagina is, I’m going to break it down for you.

Good P*ssy is visually pleasing, has a mouth watering aroma, and feels great. I know some women who know how to work it, but don’t have good p*ssy. So if you’ve been wondering what is good p*ssy, let me break it down for you.

Visually pleasing - Although we sometimes call sex bumping uglies there are a few vaginas that are down right beautiful. I know a girl who has the Lauren London of coochies. It’s so pretty, her lips are perfect, not too big not too small, and her clitoris sits on top of her vagina like the queen of Egypt on her throne. Some ladies know this and they are getting labioplasty to make their lips smaller in an effort to make it more attractive. I like nice sized lips because I can put them in my mouth and lick them. A good looking vagina is Kodak picture perfect.

The Aroma - Good coochie does not smell like water, it has a scent so amazing that you want to wear it on your face. If your water smell like coochie then you need to call your water company. I wrote a smell guide you can read by clicking here and it shouldn’t smell like flowers or fruit. I mean body sprays are cool and all but if you truly possess good vagina you don’t need anything to cover the smell of it. If any of you worked in a office before you know there are some funky women in the world. Stay fresh and you’re on your way to achieving good coochie.

It Feels Good - The best part of good p*ssy is that it feels absolutely amazing. As soon as you stick it in, you can feel the warmth of her insides, the wetness of her hole, and the walls tend to massage a man’s shaft. She doesn’t have to know how to work it, because it’s more about the feeling than what she can do with it. Now, most women get wet, but some get too wet and others don’t get wet enough. There is a preferred level of wetness. Now this has nothing to do making a woman squirt, that’s a whole other blog.

Charlotte Police Chief Calls Accused Rapist A "Monster

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg police chief Rodney Monroe was visibly upset Wednesday evening as he described the suspect accused of raping a 12-year-old girl as she walked to her school bus on Wednesday morning.

Police charged Marcus Kennedy, 28, a convicted sex offender.

"These repeat offenders, continue to be out here, engage in illegal conduct, and it gets no worse than what we've experience today," said CMPD Chief Rodney Monroe.

"Mr. Kennedy himself, and I don't think we can lose track of this. He is the monster in this," said Monroe.

Officers said the incident happened on Dalecrest Drive in north Charlotte around 8:16 a.m. after the girl got off a city bus. They said the child, a sixth-grader at James Martin Middle School, had recently moved and had to take the city bus to get to her old Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools bus stop. Police said they believe the suspect, Marcus Kennedy, followed her off the city bus.

Gerardo Campos, a maintenance worker at a nearby apartment complex, said he saw the girl walking toward the bus stop. He said a moment later he saw a man grab her around her neck, and heard the girl scream, “Help!”

Campos said as he ran to her aid, the man took off. He said he and a van driver followed the suspect as he ran through yards.

Campos said after losing sight of the man momentarily, he caught him and held onto him until officers arrived.

Kennedy is charged with first-degree rape on a victim younger than 13 and first-degree kidnapping. He has been on the North Carolina Sex Offender Registry for nearly six years.

Kennedy has been arrested 12 times over the last three years.

Jury convicts Lamidi Kafaru of killing policeman Derek Owens

CLEVELAND -- Three days in Patrolman Robert Goines' career changed him forever. The day a bullet missed his partner's Kevlar vest by no more than an inch. The day he helped bury his slain comrade. And the day a jury delivered a verdict that Goines had waited and prayed for months to hear: Guilty of aggravated murder.

Goines bowed his head and wept Thursday, huddling with family and friends of slain Cleveland Patrolman Derek Owens as sheriff's deputies handcuffed Lamidi Kafaru in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court.

Sobs of relief gave way to approving nods -- then more tears. Even a juror dabbed a tissue to her wet cheeks while Judge Michael Russo read the 12-member jury's verdict aloud. The jury deliberated for about three days before reaching a decision.

The verdict means Kafaru is eligible for the death penalty. The jury will return to court on Oct. 22 to decide if Kafaru will be executed or receive a sentence of life in prison that may or may not include parole eligibility.

Kafaru, 19, gunned down Owens and attempted to kill Goines in late February while the officers were on patrol in the Woodland Hills neighborhood. The officers stopped to confront a group of teenagers they suspected were dealing drugs from the front porch of an abandoned house near East 102nd Street and Parkview Avenue.

The teens ran when they saw the police and the officers chased them through back yards. Kafaru pulled a gun from his jacket and fired at Owens, striking him in the abdomen. Owens told his partner to chase the shooter, and Goines complied only to find himself locked in a Wild-West style shootout with Kafaru.

The shooter ran off as more police arrived. They rushed Owens to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he died several hours later.

Kafaru testified last week, maintaining that he was framed the morning after the shooting. He said another young man from the neighborhood, Anthony "Googie Man" Milner, knocked on his door at 7 a.m. and sold him the .44-caliber revolver that killed Owens. Kafaru, a drug dealer, said he was in the market for a gun to protect himself.

Investigators, acting on tips called in from anonymous residents, searched Kafaru's house multiple times in the following days and found the gun stashed in a bathroom light fixture.

Kafaru's lawyers claimed police botched the investigation by not suspecting Milner. Police did not search Milner's house or test his hands and clothing for gunshot residue, they said.

But several other young men from the neighborhood were either arrested or detained, questioned and tested.

After initially identifying someone else as the shooter, Goines picked Kafaru's photo out of a lineup days later. The misidentification became a focal point of Kafaru's defense.

But Assistant County Prosecutor Pinkey Carr said the jury recognized that the defense's case was built on decoys.

"I find it insulting to offer the argument that this young man, Googie, sold him the murder weapon when he did the right thing by coming forward," Carr said.

Kafaru's lawyers could not be reached for comment Thursday, and his family declined to comment on the verdict.

Police Chief Michael McGrath said the verdict brings closure to Owens' family, the community and the Police Department. But it cannot bring the officer back nor ease the pain his family carries, he said. He declined to say if he thinks Kafaru should receive the death penalty.

Reporters swarmed Goines as he left the courtroom and joined dozens of his colleagues waiting in the hallway. Minutes earlier, the officers in the hallway hugged, shook hands and high-fived when the verdict was read.

Goines, out of uniform, spoke softly about Owens and his own future. He will not return to patrolling the streets, he said. Not after watching his partner bleed to death in the snow. Not after nearly being shot himself. The department will find something else for him to do, he hopes.

But he is beyond the point of bitterness and anger, he said, and he does not wish the death sentence upon Kafaru.

"My heart goes out to the Kafaru family," he said. "Because they're going to lose a loved one too. I just want this young man to find peace in himself after what he did."

Authorities dig up couple's yard in search for toddler

FBI agents and police crime scene investigators were digging this evening in the backyard of a Lumpkin Street home owned by a couple identified as friends of the man who reported he last saw missing 2-year-old Tangena Hussain.

Hamtramck police arrested Hena Begum on kidnapping and unlawful imprisonment charges, and her husband, Mamunur Rahman Khan, on unlawful imprisonment charges today in connection with the alleged abduction in February of a 15-year-old Hamtramck girl.

Jamrul Hussain, 24, who was arraigned today on kidnapping and sexual misconduct charges in connection with the alleged abduction, is the last person to have seen Tangena, police said.

Hussain, the boyfriend of Nilufa Begum but no relation to the missing girl, is being held in jail on $500,000 bond. He formerly worked at a Ferndale sub shop with Hena Begum, who is not related to the missing girl’s mother, police said.

This afternoon, Nilufa Begum again pleaded with the public for her daughter’s life, speaking from the Detroit gas station where her boyfriend told police the toddler was taken from his locked vehicle Thursday night while he was inside.

“I’m still hoping that my daughter’s still alive somewhere,” Nilufa Begum, 24, said in a barely audible voice, almost expressionless, outside the Marathon gas station on Greenfield at 8 Mile. “Please, go out there and look for my daughter.”

When asked if she thought her boyfriend had anything to do with her daughter’s disappearance, she replied: “I don’t know.”

Investigators and Shawn Patrick Smith, an attorney who is acting as a family spokesman and representing Hussain, said Hussain failed a polygraph or lie detector test. NilufaBegum is scheduled to undergo a polygraph exam Thursday, Smith said.

Hussain, a native of Bangladesh who has lived in the United States for four years, was arrested Saturday and forced to surrender his passport during his arraignment appearance today in 31st District Court in Hamtramck.

Hussain repeatedly told Magistrate Philip Tomaszewski he didn’t understand the charges. He said he had attended school through the 10th grade in Bangladesh, then said he hadn’t gone to school before moving to the United States.

“Who’s kidnapped?” he asked the magistrate. “I didn’t kidnap nobody, sir.”

Afterward, Smith said Hussain and the 15-year-old girl were “friends, very good friends.” He called the age difference a “cultural thing.”

Smith, who had a picture of Hussain and the teenage girl posing with her arms casually wrapped around Hussain’s shoulders, called the kidnapping and other charges against his client “a tool to put a squeeze on the guy.”

After initially telling them she ran away from home, Hamtramck Police said the 15-year-old girl told police she came forward when she learned of the missing 2-year-old. She alleged that the couple hid her in their basement for six days in February while Hussain attacked her. She alleged that Hussain threatened to kill her and her parents if she didn’t claim she ran away.

From The Archive - 7 Things Women Keep In Her Purse

carry bags, big bags at that. But, what exactly do they carry in their pocketbooks? Here is a list of 7 things that all Women should carry in their purse.
7. A Bottle of Hot Sauce - Whether it’s franks, Texas Pete or Bull you never know when you’re going to need hot sauce or when your man will need some. So be a good wifey and keep some hot sauce on you.
6. A Rat Tail Comb - Because braiding hair, or a track malfunction can take place at any time in Urban America and with the price of gas so high you might have to do some hair on demand just to get home.
5. MAC lip Gloss - This is needed especially if you’re involved with a dude like me because you never know when you’ll have to re-do your lips. If you know what I mean
4. Smart Phone/Cell - For ordering Chinese food, checking your email or posting a blog, sending a tweet or making an emergency booty call. Hell you might just need to call for back up.
3. Wet Wipes - Some times a simple napkin won’t do the job and if you ever decide to have a mid day rendezvous then you’ll need to freshen up in a hurry and this can hold you over until you get to a sink.
2. Condoms - Lets face it a lot of these toddlers are here because there were no condoms available. That snot nose kid in your neighborhood that you know will grow up and try to impregnant, sell drugs to, or rob your child is a direct result of no condom-assness
1. Box Cutter - At some point of your life, you’re going to have to cut a flicker. Slice slice slash slash. A b*tch in your face? Cut em, she looking at your man? Cut her. Dude grab your booty in the club slash him. Play pimping in the parking lot? Slash his tires when he’s not looking.
