Speak No Evil, Hear No Evil

Most of the time it happens during dinner, while the game is on, or worst right when you get into bed with your lover. They’ll look you in your eyes with the glance you’ve grown to dread. You know that serious look that reeks of “I’m not going to like what’s about to be said.” I’ve created a list of things you don’t want to hear from the person you’re with.

We Need To Talk - Needing to talk can never be a good thing, it only means that your lover is about to tell you something terrible, because you “talk” all the time. Needing to talk usually involves you doing something wrong or them coming to some sort of conclusion that will fundamentally change your relationship.

Your Friend Is Cute - Ladies, if your man says this to you it probably means you should never leave him alone with her. Never!!!

He’s Just A Friend/Ex - Now there is nothing wrong with chatting with an ex, but let’s be real. Isn’t a friend just another name for a backup plan in case your boo messes up? It’s that friend whose shoulder will be the perfect limb to lean on in case of a heartbreak, f*ck up, or whenever a self-esteem boost is required.

I Think I’m Getting Sick - Taking care of a sick lover is an essential part of all relationships. Making soup, placing a blanket over your mate, or spooning medicine into their mouth is all a requirement of a serious relationship. However, this also means that you’ll be sick within a week and forced to nurse your self back to health.

Who Is That? - Why do people always ask this at the wrong possible time. I have a nosey friend who always ask me this question. I never answer it, because 1. I refuse to have to answer that question again from the person I’m with, inquiring who is questioning me. 2. I’m a grown arsh man, what I look like having to answer to someone I’m not sleeping with. SMCH!

I’ve Been Thinking - Oh boy!! Whenever I hear this I immediately turn into Pinky from the cartoon Pinky & The Brain and reply with, I think so Brain, but I didn’t think your legs could bend over your head.

The Condom Popped - Not only does she not want to hear it, he also doesn’t want to say it. I’m sure this has happened to most of us and it might be the most dreaded thing to hear if it wasn’t for…

I’m Late - The above statement is usually followed by this one. It’s a recession and no one wants to have a baby right now. Well maybe a few people but having a baby is a life changing event and 2 small words can dramatically change your life.

Is That You? - Ladies, if a man says that to you, it probably means you’re not as fresh as a summer’s eve. Fix it.

Remy Might Be Getting Out!

Attorneys for Remy Ma filed a motion in a Manhattan Court Room this week appealing the verdict handed down against the rapper in March of this year.

Inn court documents, the lawyers argue that errors committed by the judge presiding over the 15 day trial may have lead to an inaccurate verdict.

At issue specifically, were the judge’s instructions regarding the testimony of Remy’s victim, Makeda Smith-Barnes, who was shot by the rapper outside a New York City nightclub during an argument over $3000.

In closing arguments on March 24, Remy’s attorney Ivan Fisher argued that Smith-Barnes’ testimony actually supported his client’s explanation of the shooting as an accident.

However, the jury was instructed that if they believed the victim to be “truthful and accurate,” under the law, her words were enough to establish reasonable doubt.

Additionally, Fisher was barred by the court from arguing that the shooting in fact occurred during a struggle for the .45 caliber automatic handgun which, allegedly resulted in Smith-Barnes being shot in the abdomen at close range.

These two instructions, the appeal states, amounted to a “directed verdict,” which they say should be examined as more than just accidental error.

In addition, Remy’s lawyers argue that by including a previous unrelated violent incident at the Player’s Club in the indictment of Remy Ma, Assistant District Attorney Michael McIntosh effectively managed to taint the jury, predisposing them to issue a guilty verdict.

Remy, born Remy Smith, is currently serving an eight year prison term at the Bedford Hills Correctional facility, a maximum security prison just north of New York City.

The rapper was convicted of first degree assault, criminal possession of a weapon and attempted coercion.

She will be eligible for parole in September 2014.

Abused 3 Year Old Girl Put In Spin Dryer

20 Ways To Show Your Appreciation For Your Man

20) Cook dinner- have his favorite dish waiting when he comes home.

19) Give a great massage- start at the top of his back and work your way down.

18) Laugh at his dumb jokes- even when they suck

17) Wash his car- but make sure you ask first what type of products he uses on it (most men cherish their car like its an infant)

16) Watch porn with him… even if you don’t like it -there’s nothing like getting turned on at the same time as your man. Watch it with him and then maybe make your own (and don’t forget to erase it)

15) Ask him what he likes- ask him what he likes instead of making decisions for him.

14) Dress up- after being in a relationship after a while, women start to show who they really are, which may include granny panties and rollers in their hair. Every once in a while, throw a sexy outfit on and show your man what attracted him to you in the first place.

13) Put the game on… and leave- its sports season and there’s nothing your guy would like more than to watch his games in peace. Turn on the game and leave the house for a few hours (a good excuse to go shopping).

12) Give him a few 1s for the strip club- I know many women do not agree with this but send him to the strip club. Your man will be so surprised at how much you trust him around other females that he won’t have a need to seek love elsewhere.

11) Be his private dancer- if you don’t want to send him to see some t&a, then give him a private dance yourself. Let the inner freak in you come out and play.

10) Treat him- your man always buys you nice things and takes you out to dinner. For a change, buy him something nice or pay for dinner and a movie the next time you go out.

9) Compliment him- compliment him on his new suit or his new cologne or congratulate him on his job promotion. Compliments stroke his ego and makes him feel good about himself.

8)Stop nagging- cut back on the questions about where he’s goin, who’s he going with, etc.

7) F*ck him hard- take charge and show him why he’s lucky to have you.

6) Stop talking- self-explanitory.

5) Support him- always be his ride or die chick, and stick with him through good times and bad.

4)Tell him he’s the best sex you’ve ever had- even if it isn’t.

3) Let him be himself- love him for who he is and not what you can change him into.

2) Give great head- balls and all.

1) Swallow- he’ll think it’s christmas and want to give you something in return.

Scotsman Trufill Beverage Dispenser Shoots Out 10 Pints in 10 Seconds

The system works using a special cup, which allows drinks to be filled from the bottom rather than the top. For drinks that require ice, an added ice dispenser dumps cubes in from the top while the drink is being filled from the bottom. According to the company, fast pour times with almost no spill mean that the Trufill could end up saving 75 percent to 80 percent on labor costs. Though judging by how much the price of beer goes at Yankee Stadium, I doubt that'll ever translate

South Bay woman pleads guilty in beating death of boy, 3

WEST PALM BEACH — A 29-year-old woman pleaded guilty to second-degree murder this morning in the beating death of a 3-year-old boy.

Tia Danae Roundtree of South Bay faces between 21 and 40 years in prison when she's sentenced Dec. 11, said her attorney, Assistant Public Defender Travis Dunnington. Prosecutors had earlier filed a notice they intended to seek the death penalty.

The child, Kelvin Jackson, had a fractured skull, a bruised scalp and his body were covered with impressions from the decorative circles on Roundtree's white belt, according to a court record.

Roundtree told detectives she had "whooped" Kelvin, who was her boyfriend's son, and may have hit too hard, but that she didn't think he would be badly injured. She told them she repeatedly hit Kelvin with the belt and her hand before putting him and her own then-3 year-old son down for a nap that day in 2007.

Attorney Dunnington said Roundtree had no prior criminal record and by all accounts was wonderful single mother to her own child. She had worked overtime in Texas as a factory supervisor to provide for him.

"There were no indications of any prior abuse before this, " Dunnington said.

How To Pull Off A One Night Stand

Many of you may have experienced the feeling of just getting home from a one night stand after one too many to drink last night. In todays world the rolls seem to have changed. So I’m dishing the ins and outs of the One Night Stand.

More and more females actually prefer the one nighters over the long term commitment. It’s less hassle. Dudes are the new females, they are spending more time trying to look good, more time worrying about which fitter matches their dress shirt and more time whining about why their shorty won’t spend time with them.

One reason for this change is that females are about business and they don’t want the drama that follows with giving a dude the goods. Where were you at? What’s my ringtone, why does he have the new T-Pain song for his ringer, when am I going to see you again and my personal favorite… Did you cum too?

But dudes are still the champions of the one night stands. We specialize in the hit her and quit hers. I’m a bit concerned on the mental effect this might have on a women. Specially if her head was gassed with pipe dreams of a relationship, a picket fence and endless shots of 5 dollars marked up, watered down patron from the bar.

Rules To One Night Stands.

Be Up Front - You don’t want the drama, and you don’t want to have to hit the ignore button on your phone 50 times in an hour so tell the truth about what you want.

Mind Sex - If you are a one night stand you want to be embedded in her memory forever!! So be sure to put it down so she’ll wish she was sleep just so she can dream about you later. If you’re good you might be able to upgrade to a Buck Fuddy

Catch 22 - All one nighters should come with a rematch clause in it, you know when you bump into them at the club again after not returning the call. The rematch thus starts from there. So buy more drinks catch up on each other’s life since you’ve last seen each other and do it all again.

Have You Been a One Night Stand Before? How Did It make You Feel?

Prada II Phone Comes With a Swanky Little Bluetooth Watch

Apparently it was optimistic to expect Prada to understand the difference between a fashion accessory and a phone accessory, because now look what's happened: Prada and LG have announced the Prada Link, a Bluetooth watch that pulls text messages and your call information from the Prada II phone. To be honest though, it doesn't look so bad. The stylish Link has a tiny little OLED screen that displays the content of text messages, call history data, a call rejection option and, of course, the time. The only downsides are the 48-hour battery life, which leaves you latching your watch to the phone for charging every couple days, and the lack of a US release date. It's not yet clear if the watch will come with the phone for free, but considering that similar watches have retailed for around $400, I'd guess not.

Police have possible suspects in beer delivery driver’s slaying

Frantz Jean-Pierre hadn’t been delivering beer for long.

He picked up the job a few months ago after his mother got laid off from a poultry plant.

On Monday, the 26-year-old Atlantan was fatally shot in the stomach when someone tried to rob him on a beer delivery at a gas station near Oakland Cemetery.

Tuesday afternoon, Atlanta police were still trying to identify the shooter in the death of the Haitian immigrant, who moved to the United States with his family in 1992.

With the help of some phone tips, police had a couple of possible suspects and planned to identify the gunman by showing photos to witnesses, detective A.C. Smith said Tuesday afternoon.

When the young man known as “Phon-Phon” wasn’t driving a beer truck, he was busy growing his custom clothing business, Proven Apparel, which he founded with another man, said his sister, Azede Jean-Pierre.

The clothes, she said, “were lively. They were really colorful. They were mostly urban wear.”

Frantz Jean-Pierre and his business partner founded the company about two years ago, offering custom T-shirts, as well as other clothing, in numerous stores around the Southeast, Jean-Pierre said.

“It was doing fairly well,” Azede Jean-Pierre said. “Of course, it was a startup company. But they were getting themselves out there.”

The second oldest of eight siblings, Frantz Jean-Pierre took a more assertive role in his family after the death of his father about a year after they moved from Haiti, said Azede Jean-Pierre, 20.

He graduated from Southside Comprehensive High School, now called Maynard Jackson High, in southeast Atlanta in the early 2000s, and attended Clayton State University for a couple years before leaving school to get a job.

His sister described Frantz Jean-Pierre as funny, someone who saw the humor in just about everything.

“If you ask anyone, that’s what they remember — just laughing whenever he was around,” Azede Jean-Pierre said.

But he also had a serious side, becoming deeply interested in Haitian politics and attempting to create a charity to help the poverty-stricken country, said his childhood friend, Lorna Joseph, 22, of Decatur.

Frantz Jean-Pierre was shot after fighting with a man who demanded money from him, Atlanta police said.

After shooting Jean-Pierre, the gunman ran from the gas station, located at the intersection of Memorial Drive and Hill Street.

Dating 101: Needy Moves You Must Nix

A needy woman is a big buzz kill. The problem is, a lot of chicks have no clue when they're acting like the human version of Velcro. But after reading this list of things that make guys beg for breathing room, you won't be able to claim ignorance.

Seeking His Approval:

We have enough of our own doubts to deal with without having to reassure you perpetually. So asking us to weigh in on your most minute decisions ("Should I get bangs?") is a guaranteed system meltdown. Sure, we want to be consulted on major issues, like if you're thinking about leaving town, but for everything else, assume our two cents isn't even worth that. "My girlfriend's sister won't buy a pair of earrings without getting her boyfriend's okay," says Nelson,* 28. "Unless he's paying, I guarantee he doesn't care. I'm so glad my woman has more confidence in her decision-making abilities."

Relying on Him for Fun:

Since most women are born social organizers, it's off-putting to find yourself with a girl who expects you to provide the entertainment. That makes us feel like we're leaving you in the lurch every time we have to work late, go out of town, or hang with the boys. Don't be afraid to do your own thing, like 31-year-old Tim's girlfriend does. "I was dying to watch the game with the guys, but my girlfriend and I had made tentative plans," he says. "I was psyched when she asked if we could reschedule because she wanted a girls' night out."

Reading into His Actions:

If your guy didn't say "I love you" at the end of your last phone conversation per usual, the relationship isn't doomed. Overanalyzing these little things will push him away... and make him think you're nuts. "My girlfriend bought me an expensive pair of shoes, which I wore religiously," says Drew, 28. "One day she noticed I wasn't wearing them and started tripping that I didn't love her anymore. She felt stupid when I told her the shoes were being resoled. Where does she get these crazy ideas anyway?" Dating lesson: Take things at face value; that's what we do.

Gluing Yourself to Him:
A guy gets a little queasy when a girl attaches to him in social situations. Think mandatory hand-holding, nonstop body contact... don't make me go on. But just because we're not big on being shadowed, doesn't mean we're not into you. Take it from Me "When I go to a party or a bar with my lady, instead of following me, she works the room on her own," he says. "Every now and then, she'll eye me across the room, but she doesn't need to be attached to me, which is great." Dating bonus: Maintaining a hands-off policy in public makes us even more eager to get intimate when we're alone.

9 After Sex Personalities

There is an old quote stating “When I’m hard I’m soft and when I’m soft I’m hard.” Think about that for a moment. It’s no doubt that having sex will change things, for one females are emotional beings and males are… well men. But, do you actually know about your lover’s after sex personality? Do you know your after sex personality? Here are a few to be on the lookout for.

The Sleeper - These are the people who fall right asleep after sex. The difference between you putting your lover to sleep and “The Sleeper” is that a sleeper will not move, there is no removing the condom, no getting up to wash up, nothing. Just rolling over and falling right to sleep.

The Germaphobe - This is the person who washes, change the sheets and puts on new clothes right after sex. There is no down time to recovery time, or anything else. They go from sex to cleaning, good thing is neither one of you would have to lay in the wet spot.

The Smoker - The smoker must light up a cigarette or finish off the roach after sex. Smoking after sex can be a great, way to connect with your lover. If you’re sleeping with a smoker, nothing turns them on then saying “Let me light that” right before they smoke their after sex cigarette.

The Talker - This person wants to hold long drawn out discussions after sex, they might stay on topic and talk about what just went down, or they might go totally left field and start talking about the person at work they can’t stand.

The Don’t Toucher - This is the person who simply doesn’t want to be touched after sex. This person can be male or female and after sex, they want you to leave or just simply not to touch them. There will be no touching, no cuddling or anything that involves skin on skin.

The Go Homer - Not to be confused with The Don’t Toucher, this is the person who wants to go home immediately after sex. Some think they are just in it for the sex, others think they just want to go home. Either way they won’t be at your house for long.

The Cuddler - This is the person who wants to cuddle up and lay on their lover. They simply want to enjoy the moment. There are also different type of cuddlers there’s the spooner, the lay on the chester, and the stay insider.

The Sh*t Talker - This is the person who likes to crack jokes about the events that just took place. They say thinks like “Ha! you were screaming louder than the chick in Saw V!” or “Is your head okay? I didn’t mean to make you crack it against the headboard”

The Analyzer - This is the person who suddenly wants to start analyzing the relationship. They say things like “What am I to you”, “What was this” or even worst “Do you love me?” 45 minutes of bumping uglies does not mean anything has changed. It is what it was when we started, questioning might change things.

Portsmouth teen gets 44 years in death of pizza deliverer

PORTSMOUTH

Robert Edward Kiesewetter was delivering pizza in the Edgefield Apartments area of Churchland when he was robbed. He was trying to get away when Jamal Minggia shot at him three times, according to Deputy Commonwealth's Attorney Douglas Ottinger.

Kiesewetter managed to drive to a nearby fire station, but the 50-year-old died of a gunshot wound to the chest in the April 25 shooting.

Minggia, 19, will spend the next four decades in prison for the murder and related crimes, a judge ruled Monday.

Kiesewetter worked three jobs and lived with his mother, Margaret Chipman, whom he helped support.

Chipman testified that she walks the floors at night, unable to sleep.

Defense attorney William Brown asked a detective to describe Minggia's demeanor at the time he confessed. Detective David Dempsey said that Minggia was crying and appeared to be sincere.

The prosecutor told the judge that Minggia could have been doing something productive. Instead, he said, he decided to take something that didn't belong to him.

"Mr. Kiesewetter was doing nothing but what he should have been doing, trying to make an honest living," Ottinger said.

Police identified Minggia as a member of the YNIC, a Hampton Roads gang affiliated with the Crips. But there was no evidence that linked the robbery and murder to gang activity, Commonwealth's Attorney Earle Mobley has said.

The defense attorney argued that Minggia had not planned the shooting and robbery. He said Minggia thought Kiesewetter was reaching for a gun when he shot him.

In September, Minggia pleaded guilty to murder, robbery and two counts of use of a firearm. As part of a plea agreement, Ottinger said the commonwealth's attorney had agreed not to ask for more than the maximum 44 years and five months under state sentencing guidelines.

About 15 to 20 family members and friends showed up in support of Minggia. Some waited outside the small courtroom while his mother and grandmother and a handful of relatives sat in chairs behind him.

Just before sentencing, the judge said it was a sad day for friends and family on both sides.

Asked if he had anything he wanted to say before sentencing, Minggia read an apology and asked for forgiveness. He talked of his two children, whom he said he loved.

When the judge handed down 40 years on the murder count, one of Minggia's relatives erupted into loud wailing and had to be escorted out of the courtroom by deputies.

A young woman was arrested by deputies and charged with disorderly conduct after she refused to leave and then screamed obscenities in the hall, according to Lt. Karin Johnson, a spokeswoman for the Sheriff's Office.

Deputies were ordered to make sure that all the people who had come in support of Minggia left the building.

Minggia received a total sentence of 63 years on all the charges, with 19 years suspended. He will serve indeterminate probation once released.

A co-defendant, Antonio J. Smith, who was 17 when arrested, will be tried Jan. 21.

4 Things She Won't Tell Him

A woman will never cease to surprise you, with some random fact about herself that you will not know until she springs it on you. Although they might not apply to all women the following secrets about female behavior does apply to most women. Get ready to be shocked.

She’s Crazy - I believe that 90% of women are crazy, sure she seems sane, normal and like a good wholesome girl who just likes to do things filmed in porn, but she’s crazy. Try this test with a women, jokingly tell her you want to sleep with her friend. Sure she’ll laugh with you, and while she’s laughing I can guarantee she’ll say the following thing. “I’ll cut your d*ck off” or “I’ll kill you” it may sound like a joke, but she’s dead serious. Cheat on her and you can put money on her doing something to get you back. You might not ever know she got some sort of revenge, but know she got you back.

Running Red Lights - It’s not all bad, and as disgusting as this may sound we all did it before. Women like period sex. When females are “on the red”, “have company” or an “aunt in town” they are the most horny and her motto is “if you can go through mud you can go through blood”. As long as you’re clean showered up and willing more than likely she is too. I once had a woman trick me into this and I damn near killer her. Ladies be sure to let a dude know you’re on the red if you plan on doing him dirty.

The Facebook Factor - If you ever been on facebook then you know all about poking. Females don’t really like fingers. When pleasing a woman with your hands she really doesn’t like being fingered. More than likely she prefers rubbing and stimulation of the cl*t. Poking does nothing for her.

She’s Down To Try - In all my interaction with women I find that most women want to be with another woman. Either they kissed a girl, want to go down on a girl or want a girl to go down on them. Now if it’s not that extreme for you or your girl. Chances are she’s willing to try new and exotic things in her sex life. She just won’t bring it up or talk about it because guys are dumb and think that a woman wanting to do things other than the normal sexual acts are… Well I won’t go there, but you get my drift.

4 Arrested in Memphis Hotel Robberies

MEMPHIS, TN – Memphis police have arrested four people in two hotel robberies.

Police have charged Lashawnese Jones, 19, Kody Evans, 21, Tommie Dunn, 20 and 20 year-old Albert Nelson in the robberies.

According to investigators, the four robbed the Studio 6 Hotel in the 4300 block of American Way on October 27, 2008. Ten days later, police say they robbed the Days Inn Hotel in the 2800 block of Austin Peay.

Investigators say Lashawnese Jones would go into the hotels first and check out the security systems. She would also check to see if there were any hotel guests in the lobbies. Jones would then go outside and signal the others, said police.

3 Games Women Play

Women play a lot of games, so I decided to dissect the games that they play. I came to the conclusion that it’s sort of like Monopoly, except that passing go would mean you’re going below the belly button and you’re about to collect a prize which is worth way more than $200. Be careful, land on her bad side and you could end up in jail. All jokes aside Women play a bunch of games, which will never make any sense to me, I’m in the middle of a weird game as I type. Here are some of the game that women play and how I handle them.

The Phone Game:

No need to call you’re telephone man, there is nothing wrong with your line, she is just taking her sweet time to return your call. Women don’t want a man to think they are chasing them or clingy. Most time she’s just going to wait a few hours or a few days. If she doesn’t call you back, give her one more call and if she doesn’t pick up, don’t leave a message. Just take the hint and delete her number after a week.

The I’m Not Ready Game:

Women are scared creatures, just like a homegirl i have who didn’t want to have sex with her “phone friend” because she was wasn’t sure if she was ready. It’s not out of fear, but more out of emotional attachment and or emotional baggage. Women need time to weigh the risk of their actions, so a dude should just fall back, show her the same amount of interest that she shows you. It’s okay to let her know that you have options if things with you and her don’t work out.

The Grown Up Game:

Sex is the biggest motivater in the world other than money. Women like to use sex to get a man to do what they want. It’s not exchanging sex for money but it’s more like a reward for a job well done. Wash her car and get a bj. Fix her sink, and you’ll get some later that night. They also use it against us, do something wrong and you’re sure to have a dry D^^^ for at least a week. This is my favorite game to play, I say take all the sex you can and the more y’all sleep together the more attached the two of you will become.

2 Cahokia brothers charged in Steak 'n Shake killings

CLAYTON -- Two brothers who had worked at Steak 'n Shake until about six months ago were charged today in connection with the murders on Monday of a cook and waitress at the south St. Louis County restaurant, police said today.

Waitress Tammy L. Cantrell, 44, and cook Mark L. Gerstner, 24, were found slain inside the eatery. The restaurant is at 5828 South Lindbergh Boulevard, in a small municipality of Green Park, in south St. Louis County.

The brothers -- Anthony D. Akins, 20, and Oundr'e T. Akins, 19 -- are each charged with two counts of first-degree murder, three counts of armed criminal action and one count of first-degree robbery. They were charged today by St. Louis County Prosecutor Robert McCulloch. They are being held without bond.

Investigators said they began examining records of employees who had been fired or who used to work at the restaurant, and that in part helped lead to Anthony Akins, who was arrested and questioned by police Wednesday night. The employee records, combined with evidence gathered at the scene, interviews with current workers and people who were in the vicinity of the eatery early Monday, helped the case fall in to place, police and McCulloch said

St. Louis County police Major Ted Hylla said detectives "strongly believed" robbery was the motivation behind the killings. Hylla declined to provide additional details, but police investigators said they did not believe the killings were in retaliation for one of the brothers being fired as a worker for the restaurant.

Neither McCulloch nor police investigators would say whether the victims struggled with their killers. They also would not say how many times the victims were shot, or where in their bodies they had been shot.

Less than $200 was taken during the robbery, McCulloch said. The brothers used a swipe card key from one of the victims to access the cash register. McCulloch did not say if the key was taken before or after the workers were killed.

"Whether $200 or $2 billion, it's still a murder," McCulloch said.

Anthony Akins was arrested Wednesday night; he is being held at the St. Louis County jail. Oundr'e Akins was arrested at his parents' Cahokia home Thursday morning and is being held at the St. Clair County jail as authorities attempt to work out extradition to Missouri.

On Wednesday, the Steak 'n Shake company offered a $50,000 reward for the arrest and successful prosecution of whoever killed the employees. But McCulloch said that the reward did not help break the case.

The company has also provided money for the victims' families.

Officials at Steak 'n Shake's headquarters in Indianapolis said this afternoon that the company is encouraged that arrests have been made in the case.

Sardar Biglari, the Company’s Chairman and CEO, thanked the police for its hard work on the case. Biglari said that the killings had brought employees together, not pushed them apart.

“Nothing can bring back Mark and Tammy, but this horrible event has shown what wonderful associates we have at Steak n Shake," Biglari said. "We have come together in this difficult time to help each other."

The case broke open early Thursday morning when the Illinois State Police tactical response team swarmed a house where both men lived with their parents in the 1600 block of Armand Drive in Cahokia, said Capt. Mark Bramlett, the local investigative commander of the Illinois State Police. The area is near Camp Jackson Road, not far from Cahokia Park.

About 6:30 a.m. today, police burst into the home in Cahokia.

Tony Akins Sr., the father of the two men, told the Post-Dispatch this morning that he, his wife and four of his six sons were sleeping in the home when police broke down his front and back doors. Police made them wait on the front lawn while they searched the home, he said.

Police carted off evidence taken from the home. Tony Akins Sr. said his two sons had worked at the Steak 'n Shake until about six months ago. The older one was fired; the other one quit, upset because he thought he was being passed over for promotions, Akins Sr. said.

"If they done this .... I just don't understand why, because they had everything going for themselves," Akins Sr. said.

The Akins' small, frame home is well-kept with flowers in front, but family members were sweeping up the broken glass and cleaning up other debris in the wake of the police search.

Akins Sr. said he tried to raise his sons right and traffic tickets were their only runs-ins with the law before. After they were fired from Steak 'n Shake, one of the brothers got another job at a steel plant but was laid off last Friday -- three days before the murders, Akins Sr. said.

Akins Sr. said a police officer told him his sons had confessed, but said he doubted that was accurate and won't know what to think until he talks with them. He said he found it difficult to believe his sons could commit such acts.

"I did everything in my power to raise my boys right," he said. "It's really sad, All the people over there (at the restaurant) were nice to me and my boys. I don't know how to explain it. I believe in my heart there's got to be someone else involved in this. I don't see them pulling the trigger."

Akins Sr. said he thought his sons were home when the crimes occurred.

Akins Sr.' brother -- the suspects' uncle -- still works at the Steak 'n Shake where the killings happened. That uncle attended Cantrell's wake on Wednesday. Officials said they have no information to suggest the relative was involved in the crimes

Akins Sr. says he knew Cantrell and had met her a couple of times when having coffee and breakfast at the restaurant. Neither of his sons knew Gerstner, he said.

Akins Sr. said neither son was acting suspicious the last few days. "They did their usual things every day," he said.

Akins Sr. said his sons had it good -- they didn't pay bills but were allowed to live with him as long as they kept a job. The 20-year-old son liked the job he had at the steel plant, making $700 a week. The 19-year-old was still looking for a job.

Akins Sr. said he believes his sons are innocent.

"I can't understand what is going on," Akins Sr. said. "If they had any involvement, God's going to have to deal with them. Look at their records. They don't have any criminal records."

A criminal records check showed that both of the sons had a handful of traffic and misdemeanor charges. One of the two brothers is facing a misdemeanor charge of resisting a police officer, and is awaiting trial on that charge. The incident allegedly happened on Aug. 7 in Centreville.

Later today, St. Louis County police plan to hold a joint news conference with prosecutors to talk about the developments.

Cantrell's father, Robert Cantrell, was elated that arrests had come.

"I am so happy," said the father, who lives in unincorporated Jefferson County. "I hope it is the right ones."

Robert Cantrell said he thought all along that it had to be an "inside job," committed by disgruntled former employees. He figured that only someone familiar with the restaurant would have known that the front door was unlocked, even though a sign posted on the door said the business was closed. The restaurant was temporarily closed so an exterminator could spray for bugs before the breakfast rush.

The back door couldn't be used because a key had been broken off in the lock for some time and the company hadn't fixed it, he said.

Robert Cantrell said Tammy Cantrell worked at the restaurant for five years. She got to work Sunday night about 11 p.m. About 4 a.m., a bread deliveryman found Tammy Cantrell on the floor and called police.

"Tammy was type of girl if she had a job she'd go to it. She didn't have enemies," her father said.

Through tears, Robert Cantrell added: "I'm happy that they caught someone."

What the family saw at the funeral home convinced them that Tammy Cantrell knew her killer.

"She had kind of a smile on her face, and that told us that she knew whoever it was," he said. "That's what it showed us."

The funeral for Tammy Cantrell was Wednesday.

Sperm USB

Attendees can get some pretty cool swag at big conventions, but I have yet to see a product as functionally hysterical as this sperm-shaped USB drive handed out at the American Society For Reproductive Medicine’s (ASRM) 2008 conference. I’ll tell you what—whipping this thing out at while using your laptop at Starbucks should prove interesting.

Be His Personal Freak

There is nothing like finding a lady in the streets and a freak in the bed. I think most men want our woman to be our own private freak. In this blog you’ll find 3 ways to prove your freakiness to your man.

What Does Everybody Want?

Head!!! In 2008 you have to give head. So go down on your man, and not just regular head, do it some place he’ll never expect it, like in the mall or in the parking lot of your favorite restaurant. Being spontaneous is a perfect way to make sure a relationship doesn’t become boring and dull. Now, fellas there is no reason what so ever that you shouldn’t eat in return.
Whatever You Like

Now you’re perfect man might ask for you to do some outlandish stuff like the R-Kelly Thundercat Joust Match. [That's when you go into the bathroom and take a leak and right after you're done he runs into you at full speed and shoves his Peter inside of you while screaming HOOOOOOOOO!!!!] But don’t be afraid to try new things. Men like to do things we see in the flicks. So if it’s not too off the wall try it. Adult video stores are a perfect place to find new moves, positions and movies to spice up your bed room life.
My Pony

Learn how to ride a dude properly, I can’t stress the importance of this position enough. Ladies, y’all get on top of us and don’t move, or move in a way that is not pleasurable to us. If we got on top of you and poked around in a unorthodox way we will not get a call back. So learn how to ride. A good up and down motion is key, making sure you’re wet enough, and he’s hard enough to maintain the proper atmosphere of the ride. I’ll be posting a guide to riding in the near future, until then rent some flicks with Kapri Styles.

Never get caught Speeding again (cameras)

Everybody hates being caught by speed cameras: it is annoying, humiliating and also expensive, and that is why Novus have come up with the “Mini Coyote” which allows drivers to alert others of speed cameras in as little as three seconds. The little gadget will sit on your dashboard, and when you spot a speed camera that isn’t already in the database you press the handy button and before you know it everyone with that gadget knows of it.

“Brilliant!” I hear you cry, finally a way to beat those money grabbing machines, which it does quite effectively. Although this idea isn’t new, the super speed at which it does it allows the community of users to quickly build up a good idea of where all the speed traps are due to the fact that it only takes 3 seconds. The little gadget will then tell you if you are approaching any speed cameras, your speed, and will tell you to slow down if you are going too fast thus avoiding a fine.

So this is great, and this is gadget is brilliant at what it does, but is this good? Firstly, this isn’t legal, per se, as it is against the law to warn another driver of an upcoming speed trap. Although this is in place to stop people putting signs up telling motorists, this will fall under it, and although you are virtually guaranteed not to get caught, it is still a very gray area.

So if you can face breaking the law, you still have a few moral crevasses to jump the first addressing the fact that speed traps are there for a purpose. They are there to act as a deterrent, thus slowing people down to the speed limit so as to save lives. So although you may be able to control your speed, can someone who knows that there are no cameras do it? Is it not immoral to give an idiot that will go on that road later the information that there are no speed cameras there and that they can speed without being caught? The answer to that is yes, it probably is.

So will you buy this? It does its job very well, and if you speed regularly, this is for you. But should you buy it? Are you not bypassing laws that are there for a purpose? And bear in mind that the money in speeding fines goes to the government, which uses it for things like benefits, the fire service and charity. So personally, I wouldn’t get it, and it is up to your conscience to decide, but I am sure that if you do there will be plenty of taxi drivers with it that will help you fill up the database.

2nd suspect arrested in couple's slaying

WEST PALM BEACH — A second suspect arrested in the slaying of a West Palm Beach couple in their home last week told police he was acting as the lookout during the botched robbery.

Police say Michael Simmons, 18, confessed to his role in the deaths of Linda Joyce Sampson, 61, and her husband Aaron Leroy Sampson, 62, and has identified a gun found in his home as the one used in the crime.

The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force took Simmons into custody overnight Monday, bringing him in on a search warrant for his DNA.

Simmons of West Palm Beach was booked into the county jail at 1:53 a.m. Tuesday, according to jail records. He was ordered held without bail on charges including homicide and robbery with a firearm.

Police began looking for Simmons after arresting 16-year-old Bryant Vaughn over the weekend. Investigators report that during a police interview, Vaughn told of his plan to rob the Sampsons and named Simmons as his accomplice.

Vaughn was arrested on two counts of first-degree murder, attempted armed robbery, among other charges, police report.

Simmons, who also goes by "Mike Jeezy," confessed to going to the Sampsons' home to rob them with Vaughn and admitted that a gun found in his home was the one used to commit the murders, according to information released by the West Palm Beach police's homicide unit.

The Sampsons were well-known in the community. She was a baker with her own gourmet pastries company and he owned a local moving company.

They were popular at their local church, St. John Missionary Baptist Church, where Aaron served on the church board and played saxophone in the choir.

But on the night of Nov. 6, police found Linda Sampson shot dead in her home and her husband shot outside a neighboring house. He died at St. Mary's Medical Center.

20 Tips to make her feel like a woman

A Single Sister asked “Is Chivalry Really Dead?” She didn’t think so, and I don’t think it’s dead, I just think it’s on life support. One reason is because women are quick to throw the stalker term around, so men like myself try to walk a fine line between showing interest and not being labeled a stalker. However there are things men can do to make a woman, feel like a woman! Not just a piece of as*. Here are 20 tips for a man or to be offered to your man.

Cook For Her - Surfing the internet can provide you with some quick and easy recipes that any man can make for dinner. I might even give up a few of my recipes in the upcoming days.

Paint Her Nails - A nice evening painting her toe nails can really go a long way in the heart of a women.

Watch A Chick Flick - I have an appointment to watch “The Notebook”. I keep hearing it’s a great movie, but I have not watched it yet, hopefully that will change soon.

Run Her Bath - There is nothing like a hot bubble bath to turn a woman on, after a hard day at work. Especially when she doesn’t expect it.

Text Her - Kissie pictures, love notes under 140 characters, and just a quick quote can go a long way when it comes to making her feel special.

Shoes - Buy her some shoes, and say “I’m going to need you to wear those… and only those.”

Compliment Her - Pay attention don’t give her a random compliment and not mean it. If she get her hair done mention it, of you notice her lips are nice and shiny kiss her.

Open The Door - This is something I picked up in the south, and although most girls might not want you or even need you to do it, doing it gets you more cool points than not doing it.

Smell Good - Wearing some nice cologne and just smelling good for her. Priceless

Wash Your Balls - Nuff said.

Take Her Advice - Women like to feel included in his life, so ask for her advice. This will make her feel like her opinion is valued, which is very important in any healthy relationship.

Look Her In The Eye - Looking a female in the eyes tells her that you are equal and that you respect her. Just because her cleavage is there doesn’t mean you have to stare at it. Glancing it okay.

Link Up - Sending her links to different stuff, you think she might like is cool because it shows that you pay attention.

Rub Her Feet - Women wear nice shoes for us, so the least we can do is help her feel more comfortable.

Massage her back - Grab some scented oil or lotion and rub it deep into her back and help her loosen up. Every woman deserves a good back rub
.
Read To Her - Not all women like to be read too, but you can read together. It’s a good way to build conversation between the two of you. So run out to borders and pick up a book, start with Seeking Salamanca Mitchell by Kenji Jasper its a great urban love story. After you’re done discuss the book.

Listen To Her - There is a key to listening, especially when it comes to a female. Females don’t want you to solve their issue, they are more than capable of doing for them self. Just listen, pay attention and listen.

Tell Her You Love Her - All women want to be love, so this one is a no brainer.
It’s On You - This one is on you, what can be done to make a woman feel like a woman.

14-year-old girl found slashed to death in her Queens bedroom

A 14-year-old Queens girl was found slashed to death Sunday afternoon inside her bedroom in her family's tidy home in Cambria Heights, cops said.

Sabrina Matthews' father walked into the teen's room about 1:30 p.m. to find her unconscious and naked from the waist down, with blood gushing from a wound to her throat, police sources said.

Paramedics frantically tried to revive the Martin Van Buren High School ninth-grader, but there was no hope.

She was pronounced dead about 1:30 p.m. inside the home on 234th St.

"Who could it be?" cried Delores Kelly, 53, Sabrina's aunt. "Who could kill my niece?"

Kelly said she had nicknamed Sabrina "Brains" because of her passion to learn.

"When I come to the house, she is always on the computer," Kelly said. "Always doing homework."

One of the slain girl's best friends said she had recently started hanging out with a rough group of boys.

"She promised me she was done with all those guys," said Laquan Jones, 18.

Sabrina's father, Livingston Matthews, 51, went to the 105th Precinct stationhouse for questioning yesterday.

Police said officers had visited the home at least three times during the past few weeks to investigate reports of domestic incidents.

One call involved the father in a screaming match with one of Sabrina's older sisters, police sources said.

The family was never reported to the Administration for Children's Services, which could suggest the other incidents did not involve the teen.

Neighbors on the treelined block said the Matthewses appeared to be a hardworking couple and had emigrated from Jamaica.

Sabrina had three older sisters - Anita, Candy and Latoya.

Their mom is a home health-care worker.

The father works as a driver for ACS.

Neighbors were stunned at the slaying.

"I could not believe it," said Cecile Garvey, 62, who lives down the street. "I was in shock."

Neighbor Bill Manning, 65, said he would not leave his home until he knew what was behind the macabre killing.

"It takes a lot of nerve to go into somebody's house and slit their throat," he said. "It's savage."

The Power of the P

The power of the P’s is an amazing thing. If you have this power you may notice that the opposite sex will do crazy things in order for you to use your power against them, if you know what I mean. No matter what your gender, chances are if you love sex, but whose sex is more powerful?

Little girls are told from the moment they are born that the place between their legs is special. Things like “Don’t let anyone touch you there” or “It’s your special zone”. Why do you think it’s called your PRIVATES? Back in 6th grade the girls would walk around singing “My name is Peaches I’m the Best…” They got so much reinforcement that it’s almost impossible to get any until I turned 17 that’s when most girls start to warm up their engine for that long trip of freedom call college. That’s when the real sexual intellectuals come out.

It was on college campuses across the nation where the term Sexual Intellectual was born. Girls became ladies, they also realized they can get a dude to do anything they want b/c they had that something special. They had Power to get a dumb broke college student to spend his book money on Prada shoes, especially if he THOUGHT he could get close enough to smell her privates.

Men are no different we too are tainted from childhood. No one pays us any attention as a child. All we know is we came out of woman and our hormones tell us, we need to go back into woman. Little boys squeeze breasts, play w/ their ding ding, and watch BET’s 106th and Park to catch a glimpse of a video vixen enhanced booty. So, unless we run across a girl who has not been told her P was special, it’s around 17 years old when we began searching for the cooch.

But men get it twisted, we embark on a mission to get the fastest car, the newest phone, the most money, and whatever designer being name dropped in the latest Kanye song. Only we want ours in one of those exotic colors that Young Dro raps about. So while he is shopping for his Pomegranate Blazer and Pineapple Tie he never realize that the only reason he wants to look like a semi-thug version of a bag of skittles is to get the panties of the cashier behind the counter, or someone who looks just like her.

What most men fail to realize is that females like sex too, just as much as guys. They get pleasure from it too, so he doesn’t have to be in the game trying to get some p*ssy, rather he should be in the business of laying the pipe. Because the power of the P is best used when it’s being driven deep inside her.

Whose P is more powerful?

West Palm mayor: Murders example of 'too many guns on the street'

WEST PALM BEACH — A 16-year-old boy and an accomplice hatched a plan to rob a man and his wife in their home on Thursday but instead shot the couple to death, police said today.

Bryant Vaughn, 16, of suburban West Palm Beach was arrested Saturday night in the murders of Linda Joyce Sampson and her husband, Aaron Leroy Sampson, both 61.

Vaughn's accomplice, whom Assistant Police Chief Dennis Crispo said is "also a young individual," remained on the loose Sunday. Crispo wouldn't release that name.

Vaughn's arrest came two days after Linda Sampson, owner of a pastry and gourmet basket business, and her husband, who owned a moving company, were attacked in their home. Called to 3700 Australian Court about 8:35 p.m. on Thursday, police found Linda Sampson shot to death inside the house. Her husband was sprawled outside a neighbor's house, bleeding from a gunshot wound.

He was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center, where he died.

"This is just a horrible tragedy," Mayor Lois Frankel said Sunday afternoon. "Just another example of too many guns on the street."

Fingerprints found inside the Sampsons' house led investigators to Vaughn, whose criminal record includes arrests on trespassing and grand theft auto charges and stretches back to 2005, when, at the age of 13, he was accused of burglary and larceny in West Palm Beach.

During an interview with detectives, Vaughn said he plotted to rob the Sampsons and was in their house the night they were shot, Crispo said. The assistant chief added that Vaughn indicated he knew the Sampsons, which explained why the usually vigilant Aaron Sampson allowed Vaughn to approach him at his house.

"Why he targeted them I really can't get into at this point," Crispo said, citing the open investigation. "We can only go by what he told us."

Crispo wouldn't say whether police suspected Vaughn fired the shots that killed the Sampsons.

Vaughn's family members couldn't be reached for comment Sunday.

In addition to two first-degree murder charges, Vaughn faces charges of burglary and attempted robbery as well as unrelated violation-of-probation charges.

He was booked at the county Juvenile Assessment Center about 8:40 p.m. Saturday, records show.

As detectives searched for the second robber, the Sampsons' family struggled with the couple's "senseless" killing - and with the notion that someone so young might have been responsible.

"It is disturbing that it was a 16-year-old, and it appears as though they said they had planned this," said Frank Sampson, who described his younger brother as an active churchgoer who sat on the board and sang in the choir at St. John Missionary Baptist Church.

"That family, too. That family has to deal with this problem," Frank Sampson said. "And its going to cause probably just as much grief for that family as it's caused for our family."

He said there will be a wake from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, at the church at 2006 A.E. Isaacs Ave. The funeral will be held there Saturday at 11 a.m. L.C Poitier Funeral Home of Pompano Beach is handling the funeral arrangements.

Confession in torture, slay of Brooklyn-raised Marine sergeant and wife

They did it for the money.

The four Marines charged with murdering their Brooklyn-raised sergeant and his bride confessed they were looking for an easy score when they burst into the couple's California home with guns drawn, court papers revealed Thursday.

Three of them ratted out Pvt. Emrys John as the triggerman who ended the torture of Sgt. Jan Pawel Pietrzak and his wife, Quiana, by shooting them in the back of their heads.

All of the suspects say that Quiana Jenkins-Pietrzak was sexually assaulted, but each says it was the other three who did it, the papers say.

Shackled and dressed in prison orange, the Marines avoided looking at each other during their court appearance Thursday. They did not enter pleas.

"John is the shooter," Riverside County prosecutor Daniel Delimon said. He said all four are "eligible for the most severe punishment."

EARLIER: BROOKLYN MARINE & WIFE TORTURED AND SLAIN
John's site on MySpace offered a window into the sick mind of the 18-year-old private from Baltimore.

"Chillin waitin 4 da killin," was the caption under a photo he posted before the newlyweds were executed on Oct. 15.

Elsewhere on the site, John - an admitted collector of knives and swords - wrote that "shooting s---" and "blowin s--- up" was a great "stress reliever."

Lance Cpl. Tyrone Miller, 20, of North Carolina, told cops he threatened Pietrzak with a shotgun to get into the house. He said he bound and gagged the couple and then debated with John whether to kill them.

On his MySpace page, Miller referred to himself as a "Cripgeneral." Investigators are now checking whether he had ties to the violent Crips street gang.

Pvt. Kesuan Sykes, 21, of California, is nicknamed "Psycho" and admitted that he "cut" off Quiana Jenkins-Pietrzak's clothes, the court papers state.

The fourth Marine was identified as Pvt. Kevin Cox, 20, of Tennessee.

John and Miller worked for Pietrzak, who was a helicopter airframe mechanic at Miramar Marine Corps Air Station in San Diego. Sykes lives near the base. The other Marines lived at Camp Pendleton.

Detectives found stolen items like Pietrzak's digital camera and his wife's engagement ring in the barracks, sources said.

Pietrzak, 24, was born in Poland, raised in Bensonhurst, and joined the Marines in 2003. Quiana Jenkins-Pietrzak, 26, was black and from the San Diego area. They met at a party before Pietrzak was deployed to Iraq in July 2005.

"When he came back, she was there," his mother, Henryka Pietrzak-Varga said. "I accepted her like my daughter and her family accepted him like their son."

The grieving mother insisted again that robbery could not possibly be the motive. "I can't believe it's about money," she said.

The Importance of Booty

Women often get to my site by searching the term how to get a bigger butt. I wonder about the importance of a big butt? Myself I’m not a big thick girl fan. I mean I like butt just as much as the rest of the men in the world, but a big booty never looks as good as it does in a pair of jeans. As soon as the pants come off, stretch marks and dimples are everywhere!

In my opinion females who do have a big butt tend to think its their best feature. I say that because if you take a look at 90% of the myspace pages of black women they will have at least one picture of their as* facing the camera, their hand on their hip and their face turned around towards the camera.

Why is a big butt so important to women?

Teen gets 15-to-life for killing Demesha Sharp

CLEVELAND - Lesleye Holliman was sentenced to life in prison with no chance for parole for 15 years for her role in the slaying of a 15-year-old girl.

Holliman, 18, pleaded guilty to murder last month for killing Demesha Sharp near East 140th Street and Darley Avenue. Ohio law dictated that she receive a sentence of 15 years to life.

Holliman apologized to Sharp's family today in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Eilleen A. Gallagher's courtroom.

"I'm truly sorry that Damesha Sharp is dead," Holliman said.

"I didn't mean for it to turn out this way."

On Oct. 19, 2007, Holliman -- with backup from several family members -- stabbed Sharp and severed her aorta. Holliman, who was 17 at the time of the slaying, and Sharp had a contentious relationship.

A family spokesman told Gallagher in court that Sharp was just starting to figure out what she wanted to be when her life was cut short.

Sharp's death made big news because three generations of the Holliman family took part in the attack.

Her cousin, Anthony Holliman, 20, stabbed a 16-year-old boy who tried to stop the attack. Anthony Holliman pleaded guilty to attempted murder and felonious assault and faces a maximum of 18 years in prison when he is sentenced next month.

Holliman's mother, Yulonda, and grandmother, Annetta, also kept onlookers at bay during the attack by using pepper spray and a stun gun, according to police reports. Yulonda pleaded guilty Wednesday to felonious assault and involuntary manslaughter. She faces a maximum of 13 years in prison. She is scheduled to be sentenced next month as well.

Annetta Holliman was out on bail when she died in August of natural causes.

How To Give Good Head

We declared that a man can’t ask for head, but women everywhere want to know what makes head good. So I’ve come up with a few tips to describe good head. If you want to know how to give good head or just want to know if your head game is up to par then this blog is just for you.

No Teeth - If you’re going to give good head one thing you can’t do is let your teeth touch me. The scraping of the teeth against the longboy is a giant no no. So open your mouth wide and receive me.

Lubrication - I like a lot of spit when I’m getting a blow job. I love it for her saliva to drip on to her chest as well as seeing that long string of spit hanging from her bottom lip to my longboy when she comes up for air.

Lip Action - Ladies when giving head you should make sure you use your lips. I found out that lips and tongue are a great combo when getting head. It give us men a great dual feeling of two different type of feelings on our shaft.

Head & Shaft - I love it when a lady licks around the head of my longboy. That part of the penis is uber sensitive and filled with nerves which should be stimulated during head. Also that long vein going down the bottom portion of the longboy. There is nothing like getting that long thick vein licked right before she puts my balls in her mouth.

Balls - Not all females can lick the balls effectively, but what separates good head from regular head is when she pays attention to the balls. I can’t describe one motion that is effective because I had chick to both lick and suck the balls. Some of the licking felt great some of the ball sucking felt amazing. So It depends on the motion. Ladies if you have any tips please feel free to leave a comment on ball licking.

Visual and Sound Effects - Another key to bringing your head game from regular to good is adding some visual and sound effects. Get your nails done is add a great psychological effect to the head process. There is nothing like seeing a nice set of female hands grabbing and jerking my meat. Also moaning and slurping sounds go that much further to turning me on and it gives me one more thing to get off too. She shouldn’t be afraid to talk while she’s going down as well. Us men get a kick out of hearing you asking us if we like it and telling us how we taste. Me personally I like a lot of hand action when I’m getting head, but some men don’t from what I’m told. All in all head if done right can go along way to making a relationship work.

“United We Stand.”

November 4th, 2008.

To say there’s been a wealth of words & energy centered towards this day would be an understatement. In the above picture, Obama sits alone. But it’s united we stand, stand for those who came before us, hoping that this day would be manifest. The work to be done is not his alone; the task is for all of us. Immigrant to indigenous. We all know our country is far from perfect. $5 billion in debt. Homelessness to health care. Foreign relations as well as our relationships with our next door neighbor. Far from perfect. Today, however, will mark a day that we pray will be a beacon for significant change.

You only live once. So the Crew will be…anywhere but here, keeping up with music & the usual shenanigans. Instead, we’ll be watching how this day in history transpires.

WARNING! - MEN: YOUR WOMAN MIGHT BE CHEATING TOO

Men, if you think that you’re a player. You might not be. There’s a chance that you’re girlfriend might be playing you. Old norms for sexual relationships no longer apply for the modern day woman.

A good example would be matrimonial values.

For example, throughout history, there have always been abstract forms of worth applied to women getting married and of a bride-to-be.

Men have traditionally been excused for having mistresses or “something on the side” from their wives. If Benjamin Franklin and Tony Soprano have taught us anything, it’s that powerful men in history keep their wives for family and appearances, while the mistress gets quietly taken care of, sometimes completely known by the wives. The sanctity of marriage was based on the chastity of the woman and the view from the outside. Wives weren’t sexual beings; there were other, less valuable women for that. The quintessential Madonna whore.

How many partners a woman has had, the family she came from, the job held by her father — all these factors played into and determined the worth of a potential wife. In terms of marriage, chastity and homemaking abilities were worth locking down, while promiscuity and the lack of feminine motherly instinct kept a female at the bottom of the barrel when it came to husband hunting.

But today, the modern woman may laugh at these standards. Being a good wife has nothing to do with chastity and homemaking. Who needs to spend all day cooking dinner when we have automatic ovens and microwaves and frozen lasagnas? The talent of dishwashing has become obsolete when that stainless steel dishwasher gets installed. And with nannies, daycares and pre-preschool learning classes for toddlers, moms are just as free to be clueless about parenting as their husbands.

It’s not just traditional motherhood that can be shelved in the modern relationship. Wives have become as sexually free to have boy toys as their men to have mistresses. It is even more acceptable for a woman to admit her extra marital affairs without facing the harsh Victorian-age judgments.

In a recent article published by The New York Times titled “Love, Sex and the Changing Landscape of Infidelity,” more women — at a younger age — are not only cheating on their husbands, but for the first time in history, they’re willingly admitting to it.

It seems that throughout time, men have wanted to believe that their women (or any woman for that matter) don’t cheat, and women don’t want their men to know they cheat. Women must be faithful, pure and loyal to their men, no matter what. Cheating is something more attributed to the man. Now statistics show that 15 percent of women under 35 cheat, while men in the same age group are only slightly higher at 20 percent. Women are becoming the new men.

This head game between the sexes carries so much history, it’s almost more baggage than the affair itself. Why women hide their affairs while men flaunt them is a clear example of gender roles taking their toll on the family structure. The fact that this is slowly diminishing could be a step in the right direction, even if it encourages cheating in a marriage.

Partners admitting their unfaithful behavior is a step in the right direction. It preaches a more equal partnership in action and words.

So the modern relationship includes cheating but not lying. The lies stem from social norms and setups, which we all know lead only to trouble.

At the same time, gentlemen, if any of this doesn’t apply to you. Then all I have to say is, “Play on, player.”

Hazelwood Man On Crack Stabs Grandmother At Dinner

PITTSBURGH -- A 70-year-old woman's grandson has confessed to killing her while high on crack in the city's Hazelwood neighborhood, Pittsburgh police said.

"As Christian folks, we are going to forgive him, but he has to answer to God for what he's done," said Edith Jordan's nephew, Carl Wilburn.

The suspect -- Jalyle Murray, 30 -- got home Tuesday night and fixed dinner for Jordan and himself on Hazelwood Avenue, investigators said.

Family members said Jordan, who had a part in raising Murray, never held back her words because she loved her family.

"She was like a legend in the neighborhood because everybody knew her. She (say), 'Come over here, let me talk to you a minute.' (She would) talk to you about anything, give you good advice and send you on your way," said Wilburn.

Jordan's concern may have become her demise.

"As they were eating dinner, she began to talk to him about his lifestyle in drugs, and Mr. Murray became very upset," Pittsburgh police Cmdr. Thomas Strangrecki said.

According to the criminal complaint, Murray got a knife from a kitchen cabinet and began stabbing Jordan in the right side of the neck, then put her on the living room couch, took money from her pants pocket and bought more drugs.

Investigators said Murray called police on Wednesday morning in an effort to make it seem someone else was responsible for Jordan's death. Police said they believe the murder weapon is a kitchen knife, which investigators found in an overgrown vacant lot across the street from Jordan's home.

"I was shocked. I mean, this woman is so well loved. She's been around a long time. Didn't bother nobody," said neighbor Rose Cargile.

"It's unbelievable," said Jada Sealey, another neighbor. "Miss Edie, she always sat on her porch. The nicest person. If you needed a couple of dollars, she'd give it to you. If you were hungry, she fed you. It's just a real sad day today."

Police said it didn't take Murray long to admit to the crime.

"My words won't bring her back," Murray said as he was being arrested Wednesday.

Murray, who has a history of drug charges, is being held in the Allegheny County Jail without bail on a homicide charge.
