A St. Louis man was charged Wednesday with first-degree murder and armed criminal action for allegedly stabbing his 73-year-old grandmother to death. Calvin Brown, 31, is accused of stabbing and slashing the neck of Clara Little on Tuesday evening in her home in the 4000 block of Cora Avenue. Other relatives were in the house but not in the same room at the time, police said. Brown, of the 900 block of Watson Avenue, was arrested that evening and remained in police custody Wednesday. Police gave no motive for the stabbing.
