Police Search for Woman Accused of Robbing Memphis Store


MEMPHIS, TN – Police are asking for help in finding a woman who they say robbed a Memphis grocery store.

According to Memphis police, a woman walked into the Food Land Grocery Store in the 4300 block of Winchester Road, Friday, October 24, 2008 and stole cash from the business.

Police have released a vague description of the suspect. She is described as an African-American woman standing about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing 120 to 130 pounds. The woman is said to have a thin build and a dark complexion. Police say she is about 16 to 20 years-old. According to investigators, she was wearing a black shirt and grey pants.
