The Star Player: The star player is the one who you make love to on a regular basis. This is the person who you actually spend time with outside of the bedroom. You actually have feelings for the person and enjoy talking to them about things other than sex.
The Back Up: When the star player is busy, this is the person you call for a good time. This person can carry the team when the star player just isn’t acting right in the bedroom or in your relationship. In case of an argument or if your star just isn’t available to lay it on you, this is the person you’re going to call. This person may even be better at doing certain sexual acts than the star player but overall they are in no position to be the “face of the organization”
The Skill Player: This person is the one you only allow to do one thing to you. Whether it’s oral or hitting it from the back, this is the person you call when you need or want that certain thing done.
The Rebound: The rebound is the person who may have been a star player in the past, but is now only good for one thing when no one else is available. You use the rebound after too many drinks at the club, a bad break up, or a feeling for a self esteem boost. You know the rebound person is going to give you exactly what you need for that moment and they expect nothing more.
The Bench Warmer: This is the person who you feel may have some potential but you’re just not sure, or just can’t find the time to fit this person into your schedule. You keep them active with a few phone calls or text message every now and then, but nothing major. You tend to know this person well enough to do them, but not well enough to commit and give them any quality playing time. That is until the you have no star player, your back up is no where to be found, the skill player’s skill isn’t needed and the rebound is now a star player on someone else’s roster… This is when the bench warmer finally gets their shot.
I’m not one to judge, there are a lot of people doing a lot of things in the world. I prefer one person who can satisfy my needs, a person whom I build a special bond with and have no desire to “put” anyone else in the game, but if at time when I do have a roster I make sure I have all the right protection to avoid getting injured. You should do the same.
