
HORN LAKE, MS – Police say a night manager at a Horn Lake, Mississippi Pizza Hut was robbed at gunpoint by teens and then forced into the trunk of his car.
According to investigators, the robbery happened in the 1600 block of Goodman Road around 12:50 p.m., Saturday, August 30, 2008.
Police say the manager was leaving the restaurant when he was robbed of the night deposit at gunpoint. The manager was then forced into the trunk of his car, but was able to free himself and ran to a nearby Walgreen’s store for help, said authorities.
Investigators say officers spotted a car matching the description of the vehicle used in the robbery a short time later, at Horn Lake and Goodman Roads. During a search of the car, the officers discovered a gun, the night deposit money and other items that were taken from the restaurant manger.
Police say Dominique Morris Sholar, 19, and Jack Bernard Evans, 18, have been charged with Armed Robbery and Kidnapping
